Cant get started in demo !!! SOLVED :)

Hi all and nice to be here, my problem is that I can't get the game started in demo mode.
My spec is:-

PC:         Intel Core i7-6700K 4GHz, 32GB RAM, 3TB HDD, 250GB SSD, NVIDIA GTX 1080, Windows 10 Home 64bit
VR:        Oculus Rift CV1
Monitor: LG Flatron 34UM95-P 34" WideScreen Super-Wide LED Monitor @ 3440 x 1440

My problem is that once I start the game in VR I can't get the mouse to the bottom of the screen to see the settings and start the game the task bar seems to be in the way! I have tried changing the resolution in non vr mode but this has no effect in the VR mode and I also tried changing the resolution in the profile ini file under documents/PiBso/Kart Racing Pro/profiles/unnamedprofile. but still no change.
Oh it's ok I was able to solve this problem by right clicking on the shortcut icon and selecting Properties the selecting run on Maximised
