New to the Game

Hello everyone. I'm a 13 year old teen from the U.S. and recently downloaded the demo of Kart Racing Pro and really liked it. I do have some questions about the game.

So is this just a game where you race against players from around the world and that you can't race against Al drivers?
Is this game similar to F1 2012 if you have played the game?

Welcome to krp.

There's no AI, but it is way more fun to drive against real people on the internet anyway.
And there are online stats for hotlaps and stuff.

F1 2012 is a game whereas krp is a simulation very realistic but still a lot fun to drive.

Thanks man. Also, how do you know when someone is online so that you can join a session and race with those people? And where is the game from?

So you just click "Join" and the game will pop up automatically and you have to close it to join another session if you want to?

I have to admit, don't know exactly if or how the joining from the page works, but you can choose from these servers you see on the page in game as well of course. That's what I do.

Ok, on the stats list, I also saw many many other tracks. Will they come later on, or can I download them now?

If you have bought the full version then you can choose from 4 official PiBoSo tracks. Plus the giant amount of user made tracks which you can find here http://kart.marianley.de/downloads.php?cat_id=1&orderby=download_datestamp&sort=DESC

So I found a site where it has the complete set of all the tracks. Do I just download it or is there a specific place the file goes? I would love to get all the tracks.

C:\Program Files\Kart Racing Pro\tracks

Create the tracks folder and then all tracks go in there.

if you don't mind me butting in but yes you can,  you can change your name and number in Profile in the main menu of KRP. You can also get 3 different brands of karts and 5 catergories at the moment in the full game but there are thousands of Kart "paints" that have about every kart brand imaginable
