I think we should get a rotary :D

i would prefer x30(junior and senior but its a bit like kf3/kf1) or wankel would be cool.
i would like a rotax obviously :P but i think a 125 iame sudam would be cool but they are only in south america its basically a x30 without the TaG
KF1 KF3 KZ1 F100 all look basically the same :/ a rotax would be awesome.... aslong as there is a new engine sound....
Yes it would be nice to have a rotary but is it quite close to KF1 on performance?
Even though I'm a Rotax driver, I think we don't need a Rotax to the game as we have KF3 already which is quite similar to Rotax. Same thing with the Iame too.
Really....I think everyone would be happier with what we have now if maybe they re-recorded the sounds...like the KZ1..like its just not realistic...sounds nothing like a KZ1.. and the KF1 and KF3... just all the karts sound the same and it just gets annoying hearing the one sound all the time? if you know what I mean. Whats partly why I am suggesting a Rotary :) and because I love Rotarys

Wont people be able to make a rotax engine with the new engine modeling feature
soo its it basically.. you can only make any engine with a radiator on the left.... ? because some where I saw they said they couldnt make a dap engine or something....?

No it is possible to do with a radiator on the left or right or none, it is integrated in the model of the engine
thats what I said...you can only do them on the left? you cant put them on the right or have no radiator at all.
No it is possible to do. I edited my post sorry.

The reason for packing the radiator with the engine is to allow to move it everywhere, or to remove it.
so people will be able to model any engine they want soon
people probably dont want this but still an awesome engine/s (200cc)

there are lots possibilities for engines with the feature piboso is going to introduce, hope fully modders can get as many done as they can (/wish) to introduce into the game bring more karters into this amazing sim
it also depends on how people can change the engine, its fine making an engine that looks like that but if its still a 125 or 100cc engine then it wont be the same. It would work to make a kf3 into a Rotax as they are similar but how would a completly new engine work?
I reckon a x30 or a rotax would attract alot more people to this game...

I hope, PiBoso will make rotary for a new engine type. :) I really like rotaries.
The idea with the latest beta is that people can develop their own engines, EVO is making the kt100 already
I would like to see some 4 cycle clone motors 6.5 hp or 13.5 hp getting big in the USA anyway- if we had a 6.5 engine I would model a yard kart for some (le-mons) type action :)
Engines that would be good to see are the norm KZ2, KZ1, KF1, KF2, KF3, Rotax as well as the Rotax junior engine for all them Rotax drivers, Yamaha KT100, 250cc single cylinder, possibly a JICA (Junior Intercontinental A), a twin with two reed air cooled engines either side (all that were karting in the 80's would remember some of these floating around), the moto engines they run in SKUSA and at supernats and the old F100 engine
yeah what about a kz10 super zirconium ultra lightweight factory special engine.barrel engineered from meteorite metal collected over 800 years by Nepalese monks in the baron landscape of the atarcama desert in south America.transported by Mexican mules to the state of the art steel foundry of glockenspeil in the Bavarian highlands of Germany were it is cast by gypsys into undoubtedly the finest kz10 barrel ever produced.after 0 gravity treatment performed by 61 revolutions around the moon the barrel is machined to tolerance by nasa. Then delivered to a log cabin in Sweden the engine is assembled by a team of highly skilled Amazonian midgets under the guidance of the illegitimate offspring of the stig.this engine comes with everything needed to let u win any meeting anywhere in the solar system, is fitted with an energy polarizer, and massaged in the loins of your choice of Indian guru before delivery.

damn bro.......... :o
ahahaahahahah sounds good doesn't it :)
Surely creating a realistic engine is fairly straight forward, it would be more difficult to get the sounds right than anything else I think.
yeah, I think that too. The sounds look quite hard

it isn't too hard to make the engine as all you need is a model to be able to create what it looks like but the hardest part of it all is the sound because you need every sound it makes at every single RPM from idling, hitting the rev limiter, slowing down, speeding up, starting, stopping, bogging etc and the only way to get all of that is to get it through someone driving a kart with that engine on doing all of that while the sound is being recorded, i won't go on as it gets way too technical from there
