I asked for the same quite some time ago. It would be the best feature the simulator could ever have.

Add a Peripherals category. And add Oculus Rift! I just can't wait for it.

The SDK is available and you can buy it already! this is awesome. I can't wait for the final revision.

Track Editing / Re: Any track pack?

Now I understand why it says Hero Member. Thanks a lot. It's been a long time since the last time I played because I lost all the maps when my disk died and (because of the download limits) I couldn't download them again.

I don't remember many, but here is a small list:

   Red Lodge
   La Conca
   Magescq
   Taquaral
   Amsterdam Indoor
   Amsterdam Outdoor
   Kerpen
   Neva Ring

Don't worry if you don't have some of those, I just added the ones I remember having seen in my list but I don't remember having played all of them. Again: please add your favourites or the ones most played in the dedicated servers.

I cannot explain how much I appreciate this. Thank you very much!

no no, just a pack. any maps will do (ie: favourites or most used). the only purpose is to download some tracks while I'm at my parents house (whithout having to spend the day selecting maps from the page)

Track Editing / Any track pack?
January 31, 2013, 09:32:58 PM
Hi Guys. I was wondering if anyone has uploaded a track pack to share.

Here is the thing: I moved out of the city, and I only have 1 internet service provider to choose from. My monthly download limit is way too low at home so I download everything on weekends when I go to my parents house to visit them. I would like to be able to leave one download in the background instead of manually downloading all tracks one by one.

Thanks in advance!

You are right. I totally missed that page. I know is hasn't been released yet, but I didn't know the SDK was not ready, since I saw a game that already confirmed they will support it. I'm sure that's just because they have some kind of early access.

It's good to know you guys already know about it. It's a matter of time to find out if it's worth the effort.

Thanks for your quick reply.

This looks like the next big thing. And so far it's the only gadget I would spend money in.
Head tracking is taken to the next level. Can you imagine the level of immersion you could get with one of these things?!

You have to install OpenAL.
Other than that simple problem at the beginning, it runs perfect in Wine. (I haven't found any single issue)

Support / Re: Logitech MOMO Force Feedback

I'm using a Logitech momo with latest drivers. I haven't seen any single problems with it. Force feedback is working perfectly.
I just changed one thing:
I completely disabled profiles from the Logitech configuration, since they add lag in some games, and I simply don't need them.

To those with issues using MOMO wheel:
You may want to try disabling profiles first.

Good to know. As an improvement I would suggest adding an error message saying the card doesn't support the selected configuration and then reverting the changes rather than silently disabling AA and showing 16x as enabled.

Thanks

Today I bought an ATI Radeon HD 7770 1GB. 16x Antialising is not even listed in the Catalyst Control Center.

When I select 16x AA, KRP turns off AA completely, and no error message is shown.

8x AA works as expected, and very smooth (even with 3d grass enabled in 1920x1080).

What's causing this? is the graphic card supposed to handle 16x anyway? is it a driver issue or a KRP issue?

I'm using latest dx9, with 12.4 catalyst driver (latest graphic drivers) in Windows XP 32 bits.

Documentation / Re: Dedicated server

I started my own server and got ejected (lol). Somehow the ping got higher than 100ms and it took me out. Is there any way to enter again without restarting? It says I've been banned.

is there any way to unban a user?
