beta 8 mod issues

hey guys, i installed beta 8b not long after it came out and i've had issues with installing paints, tracks, dashes etc that i knew worked on beta 7... i've tried re-installing krp 3 times now (and installing it in different locations), trying multiple add-ons, and asking a few of my mates and we cant work it out. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!
