OK, I'll let you know when ready. MapView will create its own ENV subfolder in the location where the MAP file is stored.

Hi, here are some tips for you.

The shininess is controlled via a specular map of a texture, so the brighter the map the shinier the texture. The specular map is placed in Alpha channel and it might be convenient to combine normal and specular maps in one file (where the normal map is the main image and the specular is in Alpha).

As for reflections, there are no-real time reflections for objects in KRP, but static cubic reflections still can be used and MapView can help with creating necessary cubic reflection files. For example, in MapView, position yourself in front of the object you wish to create reflections for and press F9, the viewer will create a set of files in ENV folder. Then you can follow PiBoSo's guide to integrate cubic reflections into the shader file.

If you wish, I can create a sample set of files for you, so you can play with values/brightness and see what they do. After all, this is all a trial and error process.

I don't think you can lock it, it's supposed to be unique for each TRP iteration. The track ID is needed if you wish to register your track in PiBoSo's stats on the official website and both the new and the old ID numbers are required in the registration form in case of an update.

You're most welcome! Yeah, all these lines should sit on valid surfaces or the game won't be able to calculate correct boundaries. Have fun on the track!

Hey, me again. Where do you have your speedtrap? At the end of the longest straight? Most likely the speedtrap line is too wide and extending to GRAVEL object (gravel type is not used in the game). Either make the speedrap line narrower or rename GRAVEL into something else, like off_trksand.

Please keep everything polite, mate. It would be very much appreciated if you could check the date of the last message before posting in existing threads. There is no practical point reviving old ones, especially those which are about 9 years old. If there is no download link or the link is dead, it is for a reason. Perhaps, the mod is no longer compatible with the updated game version or the creator no longer wishes to share it or provide it for free.

Another thing to note – this forum is almost dead with very few people remaining here, so there's a good chance your questions/requests will not be answered.

Hi, if you purchased the game before 16th July 2017, you can convert a standalone licence to a Steam key here: https://stats.kartracing-pro.com/steam.php. Please note, however, that your standalone licence will be disabled and you won't be able to get it back.

In case the game was purchased after the above date, the converter won't work and you'll need to pay for the game again on Steam. It's also worth noting that the Steam version and the standalone one are exactly the same game with the same amount of features, both versions get their updates at the same time.
