Having spent many hours attempting to setup up  the CH Products steering and pedals and failed I discovered (by accident) plugging the USB connectors into a multi-port hub causes the problem,  having either Yoke only and no pedals or the reverse, Pedals and no Yoke. Therefore the USB plugs must be plugged directly into the PC motherboard only, this alleviates the problem.
