For those interested in competing in the 2016 Edition of the SKWC Tour, feel free to register on our forums and check out our website as well for the upcoming year. We currently have polls going on to decide which engine, raceday format, and schedule we will be using!

For more information please go to http://skwcracing.proboards.com/ or http://skwcracing.wix.com/home

Myles if you used a GPS add-on for your Mychron 4 this weekend in Vegas and would be willing to upload your GPS data, it would give modders a head-start and a solid base. I am not saying that they will make the track, but GPS data from what my little knowledge on the subject is makes the process 10 times easier.

General Discussion / Re: Next KRP build..

If I may add a couple of suggestions based off what we have experienced after the first round of the new skwc season:

- On the base setup, the karts have a lack of front grip and overall grip. The front end slides far too much for the amount of wheel input normally needed, so whether it is a fix in caster or something else of the sort, I'd recommend putting back in some grip.
- The plastic bodyworks have no flex at all, and minor contacts end up causing major wrecks. In order to have starts like in real life with 33 drivers and only 3-6 spins in turn 1 as a high, this would need to be implemented. In KRP's current state, it appears 12 is already pushing the limit as drivers have to be less aggressive than real life in order to make it through the first few corners.
- The aero loose affect may occur in cars but it does not actually happen in karts. I remember you saying that it was an easy fix so I hope you've already got this in your mind. However, the draft is also overpowered when compared to real life and right now the aero loose balances it. When the aero loose is removed, I'd recommend dialing down the drafting physics.

In terms of approving accounts, I simply don't approve the ones I either don't know or don't want to have access. We've tried open mods and the response from those outside of our niche community has been horrid. In the past we have tried to act professional and kind to these KRP spain kids and time and time again they prove that they are not worthy of respect of any kind. Both on and off the forum they deserve a ban from the game as they do nothing but cause trouble with those who play and contribute to it the most.

Robin we've tried to give them respect and they simply ignore us. They've pushed people past a point of respect and refuse to even acknowledge the fact that the model or dyno is NOT theirs. Until they can show respect no respect will be given as of now, because they certainly have lost mine. I am all for being nice but when being nice does not get the point across sometimes one has to be blunt.

We aren't complaining about the sim. People are complaining about those who steal work, cause issues, and attack the one good online community this game has. SKWC has nothing to do with that thread, so don't try to bring the best thing the game has going for it into this.

Honestly, you either didn't read the whole post or have horrible reading comprehension. That isn't meant to be an insult out of nowhere, but you simply do not understand the situation and now have the audacity to throw your two cents into the argument.

If I remember correctly EVO said he was leaving because he could not stand to SKWC ...

Yeah....no you did not remember that correctly. Stop making wild accusations and go back to playing on your stolen mod.

MaX, we've lost many modders on the forum due to childish nonsense like this. Rather than "improving" on the engine model that Corrie made, these kids basically diminished it and I can see how that can be demeaning to Corrie. He put a ton of hours into the engine, and rather than crediting him for his time, they'd much rather deny the fact and say they've come out with their own engine for a championship.

The Junior and Senior rotax models have only been distributed via the SKWC Website with member-only pages, where only I can approve members. Often times these kids would sign up and ask why they are not approved, and this thread shows my reasoning as to why they will never be allowed in my league.

As to PiBoSo, I don't see why you've let these kids run such a muck on your forums. They've managed to piss off nearly every active member and the only ones who can somewhat empathize are those who only come out once in a blue moon.

Honestly PiBoSo if you want to play god on this forum and moderate the fights then don't just randomly choose one to but in and make your case. Being that this is the forum of one of your most successful projects, I'd hope that you'd be able to see through the mindset of what truly is best for the group.

These kids from "krpspain", "TupaKart", or "Hugo and Jesus's playground" have been the biggest problem causers that I have ever seen. I'd take them up on an offer to race if they wouldn't just cut the track to intentionally wreck and be 3 seconds off the pace of any SKWC driver.

I appreciate your dedication to this game but I'd hope that you won't remain on the side of those who steal projects and hardly contribute to this small and deflated community.

Sincerely,

A concerned KRP owner

Scoring in terms of lag where lap times do not show up for any driver on a dedicated server where they worked before.

Well, having tried our first race of the SKWC, I can now sadly say that PiBoSo has completely FUCKED UP the multiplayer.

Congratulations retard of the year, it's 2015 and we have a connection on a game worse than DSL. I'm done trying to fill your pockets with new buyers; You obviously have no idea what to do.
