Anyways a couple of days ago a new game 4 years in the making was announced to be released first quater next year, it will come out on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and it looks awesome, anyways ill put a link up to the website and you can check it out yourself.

Competition is good, because it pushes to do better.
But this isn't out yet, just a video and some screens; so in the meantime it can bite my shiny metal ass

Yeah PiBoSo is totally right.

Already the fact kartsim is planned to be released for xbox 360 and ps3 aswell, tells me that it can't be a true hardcore simulation.

And btw kartsims 3d kart model doesn't look any good to me. Pretty sure they created it 5 years ago

This karting game was announced long long time ago on karting1.co.uk. I even forgot it. See the interview of the developpers here in 2006:
