kart.exe has encountered a problem

Hi

Since the start of this week while racing in online servers I keep getting the message 'kart.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close'. This happens on nearly every server I go on.

Is this a problem with the game or does it sound like a problem with my computer?.
Would a clean re install solve this? I dont want to re install and loose all my saved set ups if this is not necessary.

When this error appears and the game closes, I can't re enter the same server because it says 'connection timeout'. So I have to re start my computer and try again.

Any advice would be appreciated because it is ruining the enjoyment of racing online.

IMO it sounds like there's a problem with your PC, not with the game.
Just try to reinstall the game to solve it.

Before you uninstall KRP backup your files, e.g. sets, paints, settings, etc. So you won't lose them and can copy them into your new krp folder.

Thanks for the reply intre.

Unfortunately a fresh re-install didn't solve this problem and my game keeps crashing during racing.

Any more suggestions would be helpful.
