Useable Programs
« on: May 20, 2017, 01:18:18 PM »
I'm new to modding and I was wondering if Pro Desktop can be used to make engine models

Thanks

If it does export .FBX, yes you can use it for KRP ( download PiBoSo's FBX2EDF )
If it does not export .FBX, no you can't use it for KRP

You can try to do this with an extra step by exporting from Pro Desktop to another format and converting this to .fbx.
Blender for example can import several formats and export to .fbx.
From what I read Pro Desktop is a CAD program. I'm not sure this would be well suited for modelling game content, but you can try. Or you start to learn modelling with Blender (Blender is free).
