Oculus Rift
« on: August 12, 2016, 05:01:33 PM »
To enable Oculus Rift support, download the file oculus.dll and move it in the Kart Racing Pro installation folder.

While on track, press Left Ctrl + R to reset the camera tracking position.

The current DLL is compiled using the SDK 1.7

Oculus Rift support should work with the demo version, too.

Thank you for the report.
Are you able to grab and post a screenshot of the problem?

here they are, you can also see that the screen is really low which is annoying to look down.

The file oculus.dll had been updated:
- compiled to the latest 1.7 SDK
- moved the virtual screen for the user interface up and away from the eyes

The list boxes bug will require a new build of KRP to be fixed.

Bravo PiBoSo!

I don't seem to get the sound through the Oculus though, am I missing something?

Thanks,

Assuming your sound works ok through your speakers, you can simply change your default audio device to the Rift headphones once it's plugged in before playing the game. You can also use the stereo mixer (if you have it) to make sound play through both speakers and the Rift to save having to remember to change the default device each time you use your Rift.

The file oculus.dll had been updated:
- compiled to the 1.9 SDK
- hopefully fixed the position of the virtual screen for the user interface, that should now be relative to the start pose

working great on track and screen is centered when started via regular desktop shortcut. But, if I start from stats page (http://stats.kartracing-pro.com/servers.php), clicking in Join link,  it is not centered at all.

Also I canīt see some fields during session host setup... I understand this is a known bug and will be fixed in next release.

Anyway the Oculus integration is awesome. Great job.

Same thing happens for me. Some of the fields seem to be missing. Is this still happening for you? Apart from that everything is good thanks!
