fbx2edf problems

Lately I have been making tracks and engines for KRP, the fbx2edf is the most unreliable thing I have ever used.
While making my tracks the exporter will be working fine, and then randomly it just crashes, and then I can't export stuff, I read all the notes that it shows, nothings actually wrong, and it just won't work. With my engines, I have had to send my own work to other people who have got 3ds max 2010 just to get it to KRP... I would rather not send my 3ds files to other people if you know what I sayin'. So, PiBoSo, if you have any idea why the fbx2edf is crashing, it would be delightful if you could give me some help.
