Unplayable with gamepad?

Hi everyone,

downloaded the demo and got me a cheap game pad (no brand), but can't manage a turn without a spin - no matter what the setting, the linearity just isn't there, 30% travel of the analog stick to either side causes abrupt 100% steering lock, despite calibrating.

Anybody else playing this with a game pad and would mind to share their settings?

I use a Xbox 360 controller works very well just plug in and play, tried others but unplayable as you say, If you need to use a controller and not a wheel get a Xbox controller.

You must activate the "Smooth" mode in the settings of the game, it will be better already, I played with the PS4 controller, at the beginning it is quite difficult, but with practice it become easier. But we must not forget that KRP remains a simulation, and the better it is to play with the steering wheel and pedals;)

Of course I have activated the 'smooth' setting, no difference, practising didn't help.

Anyone else has advice?

Set the kart up so it isn't twitchy...

No prob here with logiteck,thrustmaster or xbox controller for me.
