Your racing season

Pretty much the title says it all. So pretty much in other words post how many meetings you do in a single year, how many sets of tyres you use, how much you spend throughout the year on equipment, maintenance, entry to meetings, etc. I did 20 meetings myself this year, used 5 sets of tyres both slicks and wets all soft and medium compound, possibly $5000 in total spent on racing, not a large sum for 20 meetings but saving money is key

My club does 8 meetings a year plus 2 other races that are not part of our championship and those are a WKA Regional Race and a 4 Hour 4 cycle Enduro. I use about 3 sets of tyres, 1 set for practice, 1 set for race day, plus another set we bought later in the year. Total, we probably spend about 1000 US dollars and it could be less due to people constantly crashing me out.

Right now, I'm leading the championship in my category. and we have 2 races to go.

I race at a small club called Monterey Bay Karters. Right now, the president is having talks of moving the track and everything else to Laguna Seca since I live close by. And yes, the World Formula category is insane, and its the biggest class with around 15 karts a race. One time, coming down the final straightaway, for some reason, while the president was waving the chequered flag, a kart ran into him. It was really bad.
