convert from sketchup

i found 3 very nice tracks for sketchup and i want to convert it.. now question to the track modders:
good idea or not?

I use to build all my objects in sketchup  but it is just as easy to build in 3dsmax, You could import them into 3ds max and have a look then you can decide for your self.
