Im starting with track modelling... and i wanted to try it to see my progress.
but when i leave the pits i see all black, i see my kart, but not the track.
i cant start the kart nor push it

on the folder i have im tracks.pkz i have the:
.trp .map .ini .rdf . tsc and some .tgas for the images (just to test them)

does it need something else?
shall i post some images?

glad to hear you are track modeling.  if you look at lonato you also have atmosphere settings file .amb.  your track map .edf and the three sky edf files.
When you make a track just copy another tracks and replace the files and data within the ini with your own.

also realised that the "not starting kart" was because the shift / buttons on my g27 were unplugged to the steering wheel

Make sure all textures are power of 2.

yeeah thats a important one.  Also no alpha channels on track surfaces.
you can put them on verital surfaces but dont put them on horizontal ones that way theu get shadows.

if you want shadows on a surface but you dont want it colidable name it SHAD_whatever
