hi guys
this is a non krp related topic, i would just like to ask a question;
on my rotax the end seams too slidy and constantly wants to step out like here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDYkAG0NcFg
have you got any suggestions on how to solve this?

Adjust one thing at a time and you should get the kart handling perfectly. See Below

of all the things here i would say the easiest would be to tighten the side pods if they are not already tight

ok thanks for the advice as you can see from the video in mid corner as soon as power is applied on the exit the back steps out (good fun but annoying when trying to drive fast!)  also what does push/kick mean? another thing also what torsion bars should i run from the footage you have seen? at the moment i run :front-in, mid-in, rear-out :is this the right setup?

its not good for racing though makes it really hard to set a fast lap!

yeah but u can run with old tyres just to have a a bit of fun  ;D   but when im not doing that i can do a time of 47.5 seconds around my track i have to get too 46.0 to be with the good guys so im doing doing well i think  :)   sorry im talking about my self  ;D ;D ;D

even when i do run with old tires i still get fast lap times of 29 seconds but last time changed the sprocket from a 79 to a 85 made a huge difference even though i hit the limiter at end of the straight. i never use brand new sets of tires i bassicly use them till they die! gotta get your moneys worth!

oh,ok.  what time do the really good people around ur track do or are u one of those really good around ur track its just i dont know if 29 seconds is fast or not at ur track?

yeah its pretty good, all the senior rotax guys hate me cause im as fast as them even in a junior! im not sure but last time i spoke to the owner of the track im pretty sure he said i was defiently the fastest junior? the fastest guy ever was i think a guy in a shifter who got 27.5 secs but managed to get 96mph down the straight. if i get the back end sliding sorted and whack some new new tires on i reckon i could get at least 28.5 seconds. ;)

The problems with Intrepids is that they have too much front grip almost every time which creates a lot oversteer. The thing you must do is increase the camber. Most of the time that's enough, and you still have too much front grip you can also decrease the front track width. Then it should be fine. ;)

increasing camber wont give you more grip?? i thought camber and caster gave the front more grip like in the chart above.
or do you mean to go from -1 to 0? 
i always thought when some one said to incease camber meant to make it more angled

giving it angle on the front wheels give u less front grip because not all the tyre is touching the ground,  ?       ???
