From your description everything seems to be ok. Now it becomes harder to find the problem.

I just did a quick google search and found sevreal threads about DD-WRT v24-sp2 on a dlink dir615with with port forwarding problems. Maybe it's a firmware problem?

Block Anonymous WAN Requests (ping) was ticked in the router settings
but i still dont think you can get a ping from the server

Now I can ping the public IP of your router, but your KRP servers still don't show up with a ping.

It's the hard way to go if you want to use the CLI with telnet or SSH, but you should be familiar with iptables and know what you are doing. ;)

Here is another link for using the web-if:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Port_Forwarding

Take a look at the warning in the text, there seems to be an issue with manual port forwarding and UPnP.
Quote
Warning
UPnP port forwards seem to overwrite static port forwards set here. If your static port forwarding is important, turn off UPnP.

And here the link for trobleshooting:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Port_Forwarding_Troubleshooting

Which build of DD-WRT v24-sp2 are you using? Did you check for possible problems with this build?

well ive disabled UPnP now and restarted the server can you tell me if you see a ping now ?

Hello, ive been in this situation whith my server  my only option was to invest in a new router modem  .... Even thought i had access to my portforwarding there was a firewall setting in my kpn free modem that cant be altered....(or kpn will not allow this to be changed)..  ive had to do this 2 times now ... first i had bought a linkys to get round this problem but then they updated me to VDLS2 and i had to buy a fritzbox... i use this to check my ports are open  http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm
