I think it would be pretty cool if, when you slam into a wall or something, the camera moves forward and slams into the steering wheel and cracks appear on your visor, or the visor completely shatters.

Sam

more real if visor didn't crack maybe when you hit the wall your body lifts ways depending on the hit and when you role you fall out not go under ground

I sure can understand where your coming from here but really I think that would be incredibly hard to do, the animation and what not would be very complex, but very nice idea +1 for sure

Sam

thanks i know were your coming from yours is some what easier but if we do that it mite make it be not so realistic and make it a but non a piling

I agree and it would be awesome to do that LOVE THE THOUGHT OF THIS

You know that this game is a simulator.. In real life the visor wont crack or shatter simply because its made of some kind of plastic not glass...

Thanks mate,
I realise this fully, but consider this do raindrops really just disappear from your visor or do you simply enter some underground realm when you flip a kart?
Not to offend but I have actually had my visor crack, and yes it was from a crash and yes it was a fully compliant silver sticker Australian standard helmet with a plastic visor

Sam

you said its to hard to make the guy fall out mate its a 9.99999999999/ 10 that the visor will crack pluss when you go under ground we didn't add that in it was a problem and if you say its bad well you go fix it then mate if you were as legand as piboso why are you not making a game why are you talking on this forum and because we didnt add this in to be un realistic it doesnt mean you can add a un realistic thing in that hardly ever happens so if your dissing the game then dont if you have done a lot for the game then come up with a beter idea than this sorry but this is not the best of the ideas we have.

if its not getting through im saying delete this subject and get a great idea better than this

maybe a pernament scratch would be best that doesnt come off when you use the tear off.    i dont think the plastic they use for visors can shatter is not brittle enough.
Falling out of the kart would also be interesting.  The driver going through the ground after roll over is quite unrealistic,  and i find myself rolling over often

hopefully the kart dont flip so easy in beta 6 this goes like lift a mill and then it flips so beta 6 should be (or beta 7) it would lift a mill then flex lift and the front starts to get the tiniest lift then hit the gas and it goes down

Definitely agree there sambo,
I find I roll the kart quite a bit (in KRP of course!) and I think maybe there should be some sort of anti roll mode or something.
I'm not sure how that would work or anything but it would be pretty nice to have something similar to it, and I like the idea of the scratch, and because the driver doesn't change helmets, the scratch, or whatever, stays there for the entire time you are at the track.

EVO

a hair line crack would probably be realistic aswell.  They tend to occur near the pivot though. Where did you get yours Buzzard?

Embarrasingnly enough I crashed into a stationary kart on the straight at about 96kp/h the kart had spun and well, I hit it and didn't come off so well, I have also heard of people dropping their helmets and having the visors crack, nothing major but still a crack none the less. When mine cracked it was like someone had thrown a rock at it really hard.

I dont know about the visor but for roll overs it could be a simple ragdoll with camera inside the helmet... it would give an awesome sense of immersion
