Lack of Tolerance on Rolling Start

Hey there,

well this is not directly a bug, maybe more of a suggestion or change suggestion in relation to a bug

The problem mainly is, that there is a lack of tolerance in rolling starts. If you're on the grid with a lot of people it happens already if there is a bit of lag that things get out of shape and the gaps/speeds cant be kept up. The penalties for that seem very severe. Don't get me wrong, i don't have anything against a clearly ordered start, but at the moment it's almost impossible to get all of the people on the grid into the first lap. Also a crucial part in this should be the grid-alignment system which is fragile and also lacks tolerance. Maybe there would be another solution than that.

Would it not be better if the speed limit applied only to the pole man and everyone else just had to form up on him?

You could put a speed limiter on him until he comes under starters orders.

And if the grid isn't adequately formed or the pole man makes the approach too fast then they get sent on another formation lap.

And when the damn lights go green the race is on and to hell with any other complications.  Although the lane discipline would still be needed.
It is perfectly possible for a man to be a fool but not know it................................unless he is married!

I think that the better solution could it be an automatic rolling start,
one lap drived by a sort of AI and then the real start drived by real drivers.

Starting to get into arcade game territory if this happens. This is a simulator to replicate real life. I don't have AI to drive my kart on warm up laps in real life so I don't think it's needed in the sim.
