oculus.ini does not seem to work

I created oculus.ini  in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kart Racing Pro"  and added the following lines

[mirror]
eye = 0

...but I am still seeing two views displayed on my attached monitor... was expecting to see 1 view only

Oculus VR is working very well apart from this issue
