when will the poll finish? why dont you release it on both karts? then people can just drive there prefered one :)

oliver

the mini chassi is too small for minimax

Diddy4957

the mini driver on the full sized chassis is probably best, mini max runs on full sized chassis same as KF3 and Junior max, but the drivers tend to be smaller, as their about 12

Since the chassis have different characteristics, they won't be able to race online together. The poll will end when we reach a consensus in the comments, plus when there is good feedback given. What I might do is create both and  run a beta testing for a week or so, and get feedback, because I am looking for what the community wants. Personally, I drove Birel in Minimax, and drove a chassis that was a 1010mm wheelbase, which is just shorter than a full-sized. As of now, I have my reasons for wanting to go with both. Soon, I will make a download database for Rotax MAX where feedback will be recorded, and a gallery of all the Rotax engines so people know which is which. For now, keep voting and giving opinions. They are really helpful, because I have changed my mind on which chassis I prefer many times so far. However, keep in mind that with both come consequences, in terms of handling/performance, because the full-sized chassis weighs 55kg, driver weighs 70 (I don't know about the mini chassis weight or mini driver weight) and in reality all Rotax engines (aside from the Micro MAX) weigh 23.6kg ish with water. At that point, the Minimax on a cadet kart accelerates better (it may be the size of the kart throwing me off), but it also weighs 14kg over the 235 that it should weigh. I could take the engine weight down to 10kg and make the entire weight be 35kg, but it still feels slow out of the corner. On the other hand, the Mini chassis doesn't have near as much grip, plus doesn't have OTK and Freeline bodywork. Anyway, keep giving suggestions, as this project is community-driven. I would argue that Minimax is the most controversial class around the world because of the lack of rules regarding if they run full chassis with 2 fronts and 2 wide rear tires or if they run cadet karts with 4 front tires, or full chassis with 4 front tires, or any combination of that.

@f.alonso:
As I said before, they can't race online. Unless you want to separate karts, you can't race them together.

oliver
