The event will run Essay for one week. Next Sunday the track will change.
You can find the results here in the KRP section: http://hotlap.no-ip.info/

Everything is still work in progress but we thought it's good enough for a first test.

Hey dibu, can you tell me about how the hotlap point system works?
1st round is over and I see for example Cory Hayes with 48 points total, beiing that 15 best laps, 25 best runs and 8 theoretical bests.
How can 15 best laps be performed in a single event?
What am I missing?

Thanks ;)

I hoped that it's more or less self explaining when you look at the results site: http://hotlap.no-ip.info/HotLapEvent/index.php?dbName=X30&sectors=3

Points for place 1 to 10 of 'Best lap' (fastest laptime) are:  25 - 18 - 15 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 1
Points for place 1 to 10 of 'Best run' (best 5-lap run) are:  25 - 18 - 15 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 1
Points for place 1 to 10 of 'Theoretical best' (addition of best splits) are:  12 - 10 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1
Points for place 1 to 3 of 'Highest speed' (measured at speed trap) are:  5 - 3 - 1
Points for the one who drove 'Most laps' are:  5

Your example Cory Hayes: (download the 'X30-Hotlap-Essay-Round1.pdf' from the results thread for details)

Best lap           -  3rd place  -  15 points
Best run           -  1st place  -  25 points
Theoretical best   -  3rd place  -   8 points
Highest speed      - 13th place  -   0 points
Most laps          -  2nd place  -   0 points
                                  ---------------------
Total points                        48 points

nice :)
thanks for explaining ;)
yet 10th place is not easy to reach. We have very good drivers and they can build nice setups too.
It would be nicer if you put more places with points...
One other thing... Is it suposed to be single events or some kind of championship?
