Support / Re: Installing Tracks
« Last post by PiBoSo on January 16, 2018, 08:08:02 PM »
Thanks for your help. I've installed the game on 2 gaming PCs and experience the same. Lap Timer not working. However, if I change the view to outside the Kart then the pop-up Lap Timer on the screen does show the time, temperature etc. But I want to race from within the kart and see the lap timer working.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any other suggestions?

Many thanks.

Unfortunately at the moment there is an incompatibility between Kart Racing Pro and the Intel OpenGL drivers.
If your PC has a dedicated graphics card, too, please make sure the high-performance processor is assigned to Kart Racing Pro.

A workaround is to enable "Show HUD" in Kart Racing Pro -> Settings -> Simulation

Other Addons / [SKM Release] US Road Racing Kart

My first foray into making a complete kart for KRP still very early W.I.P.
You will need to make an account and be added to the member group to see this thread.

@Piboso the kart needs a driver who lies down to match the driver position what would be the best way to go about this? Any chance you could get the current krp driver lieing down for this  ;D

Off-Topic / Re: KT100s removal

This is a forum for a kart racing video game but i can luckily for you answer the question. Youre going to need to crank on the bolts its doubtful to me that they got that tight in any way that would prevent you from just going for it. It would be fairly reasonable to expect a small amount of play in any bolt with any wrench size but if it has a lot of play it may not be the right size

Off-Topic / KT100s removal
« Last post by KTaussie on January 14, 2018, 04:15:45 AM »
Hi have a Tony Kart with a KT100s engine on it.
I have tried to remove the engine a few times now.
The mounting bolts under the kart for the engine are stubbon and I cant get them to turn.
I am being careful not to to do any damage.

Has any one had the same issue?
Any suggestions?
Do the allen bolts require a special size allen key / wrench as there seems to be a little play when I try to loosen them with a stadard allen size ( 8mm I think from memory).

Thanks,  :)

Plugins / Re: Output Plugins
« Last post by Racer_S on January 14, 2018, 01:07:02 AM »
I am indeed compiling as C.

If compiled as C++, the game does not recognize it and there is no crash.

I have tried with the new version of WRS and his example output plugin and same problem there.
Strange because I never had this problem with the older versions of KRP and WRS.

I have tried aligning the structs with #pragma pack ( 8 )
Tried turning off all optimizations, tried compiling with older visual studio toolset compilers, and intel compiler...

Always crashes when clicking ToTrack..  I am out of ideas.

Some other details:
I am testing with the DEMO

This is the order I am starting the race
Testing>Start >ToTrack *crash*

Here is a link to the visual studio project and compiled DLO plugin.

Thanks for any help, I think I will just recommend our clients use an older version of KRP for now.
