I had a similar problem, when first installing beta 2, but in my case it was the other way round, the driver was there, but the kart was missing. I coul fix it, by deleting the old kart files from beta 1, that were still in my Karts folder, perhaps you have the same problem with the driver  8)

Do you have the 32 or 64-bit 3ds Max? The rfactor plugins only work with the 32-bit version.

Used a trial version too, until yesterday, so that's not the problem. I can also confirm, that the 2010 rfactor plugin works with 3ds Max 2011 32-bit, seems there's something different wrong.

Also just got 3ds max and started clicking around a bit   ::)
I tried to put together a script, that changes all the materials to standard, but I can't seem to get the textures assigned, as I don't know how the right property of the gmat material, to acces them, is named  :(
If anyone has an idea, that would be really great, as it would save quite some time, if you have 200+ materials...  8)

Wow! What a News, and quite unexpected for me. But now I'm really looking forward to it.... any chance to get a changelog already today?
Hopefully we can now really get some races, or even a championship going... that would be so cool  8)

Now that there are a handfull of tracks already, this would be really cool  8). Count me in, if you really get something going. Sadly I can't try your Dijon track now, because I'm not at home at the moment, but I'm sure it's great fun.

Wow, that comes pretty unexpected. What a cool feature! Will be fun to compare laptimes on the different tracks, which will raise motivation to play the game again  8)

Any chance, to get a Progress Report, or even a small update, to fix some of the bugs (including improvements of the netcode), that are currently preventing real racing action ??
The game definately desserves alot more attention, but it's difficult to promote the game, when the only thing that could keep the motivation, to play the game up for a longer period, is only useable to a limited extend :(.
