Nicest sim rig I've seen.  I can tell you from experience that using a 50" - 60" flat widescreen tv would increase the fun 10fold.
It would be best positioned as on the ground as low as possible.  Then adjust the pitch in the game to a low setting.  good luck always.

Does anyone one know how the wiring is to be connected to the 2 devices.  From looking at videos I see a Pcb isnt necessary.  By the videos it appears to be a simple 4 wire connection.

Then an install of the arduino bootloader.  I not sure about the display tm1638 library, but is necessary that would be next.
Lastly would be the krp code.

Theoretically this could be build in under a day.

I have all the above mentioned docs and libraries set to go, I just need to figure out wiring.

So next I'm going to install Arduino OS & ides.  Let me catch my breath and calm down a bit.

As I wait for the Arduino material to arrive I'd like to paint my kart.  I use gimp mainly and have access to ps6.  The bodywork to be painted is Birel Fl.

1. Where can I find a Birel Fl template.
2. I opened a 2011 B fl .pnt file which held the useable .tga's.  Is there an importance on the file names when repacking?  In other words must the files share a common name,  can names be random such as hub, driver, ect?
3. How should .tga files be saved? compressed or uncompressed?
4. If saving to .bmp in ps6 what is the size recommened?
5. will older templates work ver 12b?

I just cant pass this up.  I placed the order day.  It should arrived in 3 weeks total.  I'll be research the arduino site/forum on how to set it up,ect.

I'm purchasing the arduino ware this week. As of last night the total in usd was not more than 25$.  This is a fantastic innovation.  I wonder is the creator still around?  Has anyone else built one for krp?  Will it or can it be programmed to display shifter data such as gear selected and revs?   Thanks
