I'll try my hand at this one.   Make sure everyone has opened port 53 twice. Once for tcp & once f or udp :o.  Also could we give the race starts a few practices. ;D

Firstly thanks for the tips.  Yes when packing up painted I have left the described box for file empty.  I thought it was more important to name the file after I pressed the pack button.  I'll redo the packings asap.

As for the wireframe I like it.  It gives the kart a nice extra effect in dimensioning.  I've positioned it so the decals and back bumper are above the w'f' layer.

I've painted a 2nd version of my design.  I added it to 4 locations:

    Kart Racing Pro\karts\b-kc1\paints\
    Kart Racing Pro\karts\b-kc3\paints\
    Kart Racing Pro\karts\b-ks1\paints\
    k' r' p'\bodyworks\paints\fl

In the game kart choice the file name doesn't appear, a number appears and if I choose the number the painted kart appears.

Paints / My first paint WIP
March 11, 2015, 12:24:58 PM
I completed my 1st paint.  While I do have access to PSC6, I used Gimp and MS paint solely.  I had some problems guessing the birel syntax but got it.
BRL_BODY
   _CHASIS
   _SWHEEL (NO 2)
   _hubs
   DRIVER

Another problem was naming the folders as per the painted wiki

    Kart Racing Pro\karts\t-kc1\paints\
    Kart Racing Pro\karts\t-kc3\paints\
    Kart Racing Pro\karts\t-ks1\paints\

I did this and put the pnt file in each one and the paint did not appear in game.

Then I tried k' r' p'\bodyworks\paints\fl folders and the paint finally appeared.

I still need to clean up the kart.  I want to do the driver suit and a helmet.  Could you please clarify / update what goes where
concerning birel.
Thanks in advance.

Here is the wiring diagram.  According to the author the STRB1 is incorrect make it STRB0.

Thats it for the wire up.   I recommend you connect the Nano board to your PC and get it recognized, sorted, & tested before wiring it to the LED.  This isolates things in case troubleshooting is necessary. ::)!

Then its on to libraries.  Talk to you soon.

I havent got the nano board itself recognized by my pc.  Thats one stumbling block.  But maybe someone can make a few more steps than myself. Good luck!

Ok. I will post all that is necessary after I've wired it up and know that the boards are ready to be programmed.  Honestly it could be a bit of time, maybe as drastic as reordering the boards, but I will do this build.  ;D ;D >:( :'(

Great news!  I've tracked down all of the data necessary for this build.  My 1 stumbling block is that beyond the arduino and tm1638 library data(led) the rest of the data is for another game.  I'm barely versed in C++ though I study it nightly and C+ is totally foreign to me.  Piboso your plugin data is in C+.  Could tell me how I should apply it to my sketch to finish this build and get it working.

Also Piboso can I have your permission to post all the steps up to where it becomes time to add your plugin data.  The write is a bit lenghty when pictures and instructions are combined.

As I said most of the info is based off other games and I extracted what is necessary for kart racing pro.

Thanks

Racing / Club 125 open
March 02, 2015, 05:19:05 PM
Greetings. I just this game january.  In the small spare time I decently sorted out a baseline KZ1 setup for most tracks.  So know I'd like to feel it out in some online competition.  I'm in North East USA and can make time in the afternoon or evenings or even early am except saturdays b4 7pm. I will be in KZ1 but others are welcome to 125 non shifters alternatives.  We can dialing a median bracket setting.

This will also be my 1st test with using the server.  I'm totally inexperienced on this so info & advice is welcome.

Tracks for me so far: lonato, sarno, ovr, dkc, chiva,  You are invited to add yours.

I'd like this to be a regular weekly thing.  Also I do ALOT of  online sportscar racing (I've been consistently racing online weekly since 2000 and still do!) and I'd like to set aside 1 day per month for some practice at the Nordschleife.

So to get this started please list 1. your name, 2. time frame (in usa est would be really helpful), 3.tracks
