To install a kart paint create, in Kart Racing Pro installation path, the following folder structure:

"bodyworks\paints\tk" for T karts
"bodyworks\paints\nl" for C karts
"bodyworks\paints\fl" for B karts
"bodyworks\paints\nl_mini" for the C Mini karts

and copy the PNT file in the appropriate directory.

It is also possible to have a paint for a specific kart, using the following structure:
"karts\t_kf1\paints"
"karts\t_kf3\paints"
"karts\t_kz1\paints"
"karts\t_fs250\paints"
"karts\t_f100\paints"
... and so on

For the helmet and visor:
"driver\helmets\sk6\paints"
or
"driver\helmets\sk6_s\paints"
or
"driver\helmets\sk6_mini\paints"

With the mini it losses performance like it would with the kf, when the engine is over about 60 C.

The 60 mini engine is running at 50 C, every air cooled engine I have raced ran at over 150 C?

On the setup page of the forum people have put a few setups on that make the karts more realistic, although the setup is not like it would be in real life the end result is similar

True, but look at the championships people tried to organise but couldn't due to the online. Those races at least will have a full grid. Most of the time I doubt whether there would be more than 10 or so people in a race, but that would still be more fun than the online races we have at the moment, where more than 3 people causes too much lag.

Part of the reason people don't go online is due to the lag, which PIBOSO is going to fix for beta 9 and 1.0. I doubt we will get AI for the game as no game has realistic AI, and its so much work. Its better to focus on the online and realism so we can race each other, then there will be people online. Also when the online is better people can arrange races for bigger grids as well. People have asked for AI before and PIBOSO said they wont put it in KRP then so i doubt it will happen for 1.0

There was talks of taking front brakes off KF1 at one point as it reduced the overtaking in the race as everyone could brake so much later, so it doesnt actually make more overtaking. I guess it depends on the track though, if there are long straights it will help but on more technical circuits it wont making overtaking better

they've improved the realism so you cant run the f100 fully lean all the time now

Whats happening is the engine is seizing, probably on the f100 which is direct drive, which locks the back wheels like it would in real life. As everyone says run a higher carb setting as your breaking the engine

If only I had known about round 2, still really good championship, especially for me as i live in a village and have quite slow internet so the lag makes racing almost impossible at the moment  :D

In Europe you can get out your kart to carry it back to the track if you get fired off, but if the race is stopped due to a crash then the drivers involved who flipped or had a really bad accident are not allowed to continue. Although if you can get to your kart after flipping then you can continue like KZ2_Iceman97 said, but ussually there is a lot of damage to the kart so people cant.
