for sure, this makes a massive difference. Always set up as much degree as possible ;)

Hi LauZzZn, you set 900° at the manufacturer tool, which settings are you using inside KRP? 180° or 900°?

900 degree ingame, too

Awesome. Thanks again LauZzZn. Really happy to hear your input based on you can compare to real world experience. Will take a look at the Granity settings.  Might also try to configure my wheel as 900 degrees (as you show in your images).  I'm configuring as 180 in MMos and in KRP, might make a difference for the osculation as well.

Thanks.  Looks good.  Feels better than what I had.  What are you running in-game FFB strength at?  Only issue I have still is that it results in some pretty nasty osculation if I was to release the wheel, even when going straight.

Try to open Granity and lower the (I think its called PDW) value. I think I got the 3rd setting, something around 600 possibly.

I run ingame with 60% I think, with 32cm steering wheel size ( actually karting wheel ).

Sorry, first image didn't show. :/

How much in-game FFB strength as well?

New try

Bobs track builder is the easiest to learn ( Race Track Builder is basically BTB V2.0 but its kind of shit )

3ds Max 2010 ( If you can even find the download for it anymore ) because you can get tools to import rFactor tracks ( BTB exports to rFactor ) and then you have the export to .EDF tool ( edf is the format of the models for KRP ).

There is a FBX to EDF converter for the newer 3ds max programs but its a bit crap, it just crashes, you can leave it for as long as you want and 9/10 times it crashes.

Absolutely correct Cory.

A few tutorials exist for BTB and 3Ds max, I self-taught BTB, too. It is quite simple when you understood its workflow, everyone here is happy to help you on that :)

Hi I have made a kart track with Race Track Builder and it has exported the files as .FBX could someone help me with the conversion please?

maybe try finetuning your track before getting into the conversion process. Optimize kerbs and their textures as I see grass shining through for example. same for the tarmac.
Add more scenery to "finish" the track ;)

Good morning,
I would like to ask if only the skins of all the bodywork do not come to me, they appear to me, but when they load them, the colored suit and chassis appear, but not the livery.
:'( :'( :'( HELP ME :'( :'( :'(

no paints work anymore due to a file change. we hope modders update their paints or redo the, otherwise you may try it yourself :)

Now i got it. I had to set all to 180 first (mmos and ingame) and do the calibration afterwards.

Here are the mmos settings, sorry that it took that long  ::)

Any chance of checking/sharing now? Would really love to further dial it in, as that osculation is pretty bad and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

I still did not forget it, I did not have time to get to the sim since ages :(

Track Editing / Re: BTB - Making the pits

What is the best way for making the pits in btb?

Depending on you elevations and wanted level of detail.
For no, or not much elevation changes on the track I suggest using the terrain tool, cutting your pitlane into your terrain.
Otherwise you should do it with the normal track tool and merge your tracks as good as possible together, and finish it off in 3ds max later on
