I am new in trackmaking and new in 3ds max and i have a problem.
I want to load an early version of my track in KRP, to test and see how it is looking.
The track is exported from 3ds max to an fbx-file without any errors or warnings.
Then exported with fbx2edf from the tracktools.
Logfile (edf, map and trp-files are build) with errors see picture.



In mapview i can see the track.



In TrackEd i made the centerline, the grid and pits and generate the surface.




If i go to layout, marchals or camera-set their is only a grey screen.

When i try to open it in KRP, the programm crashes during "connected"
I use 3ds max 2011 under Windows XP (32bit) and i also tryed to export it in Windows 7 (64 bit) but no change.

I can't open the TerrainEd-file on my PC.
Is their any documentation about that new Tool?

It would be nice, when it was possible to select the menue-points not only with the mouse. To use the enter-key to go forward or to use the tab-Key to go to the next Button is pretty easier and faster.

Thank you very much. That was the problem. The "engines" folder was not on the other PC.

Is there nobody, who can help?
What means that "data mismatch" and how can i test something to get it work.
Is there someone who use this way to connect two PC´s and where it works and where we can look for the difference in the settings.
Please help me its important, because i want to race with two real Karts(used as simulators) against each other.

I have this problem, too. Two PC´s (both XP 32bit) connected with a crosscable (cat5e) and a clean installation of KRP 9. I try it with all standart things like karts and tracks: Essay, Lonato, Zuera and so. Every time it says first connected and then data mismatch. I think the network is ok, because i can join to the track on the second PC witch is selected at the first PC.
I hope somebody can help me, because i dont know what i have to do.

Great work. It's a nice and fast Track and i will drive on it very offen.
