Tracks / Re: [Release] Kerpen update

This post hasn't been touched in 2 years

I highly doubt the kerbs will be fixed.

If you had read up literally a couple comments in this post you will see the mod doesn't work.

Did anyone check KartKraft out? Is it worth a buy or is the Early Access version too buggy and messy?

physics are still off, its not THAT buggy, most major bugs are pretty well sorted

Defs worth buying atm, but wouldn't totally write off KRP atm

I know that is a very old topic, but I was wondering if Mariembourg was avaiable now?

Thanks in advance!

Mariembourg does exist here is the link to it and sorry about the rude responses you might have gotten to you simple question  https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s32hw0r6yc5av0f/AAAnCS-Fc5GmW-M0POZtc5K6a/KRP%20Tracks?dl=0&preview=Mariembourg.pkz

Racing / Re: KRPC WINTER SERIES
November 19, 2018, 12:49:24 AM
....wtf?

You can't expect the series to magically grow.

There needs to be something running so people know that their time is worth it. 8 people would have been fine ( Small, yes, but fine )

And don't try run a series using instagram for news/links etc.

No, because Net code + general physics and updated models are more important to this game than AI.

If KRP is still the best, expect a heap of new people to come over and the forums to be active again :)

What do you mean with "IF"?
It is of course, by far, still the best in terms of physics and features.

However, quality doesn't always ( or to be precise, rarely ) translates in popularity, especially when it comes to simulators  :'(
The most used virtual karts at the moment are probably the Gran Turismo ones...  ::)

You're confident against Kartsim then aren't you ;)
*Its shit

Gran Turismo is the real driving simulator....

Win win for you though, if KartKraft doesn't get any better than what it is now ( .....it will get better....) then people who have been waiting to see what the best karting sim is will flock to KRP :)
just hope that you've sorted out the more major issues before that day comes/if it comes

Didn't want to start up the whole KRP vs KK thing since I'm trying to be civil these days

But in all fairness, KartKraft have said although the state of the Early Access isn't ideal, at least its out and they're obviously going to keep working to make it better over EA.

If KRP is still the best, expect a heap of new people to come over and the forums to be active again :)

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Wall Collisions.

A new, more slippery, wall surface is planned and it will be integrated as soon as possible.

Sweet, cheers.

Suggestions and wishlist / Wall Collisions.
October 29, 2018, 02:09:15 PM
Any chance of another wall collision being integrated into the game in the next couple builds?

Like " PLAS " ( Plastic ) ( WLLPLAS )
something you would assign to plastic box barriers around tracks like super nats
Something with less friction than the current wall ID's
obviously enough friction to slow the kart down, but not so much that when you slightly tap the wall it rips the kart around.

Now the online is
You have to look up how to port forward and then host a server that usually crashes after a couple hours ( If you're lucky ) and its just over all a bit of a laggy experience where as it didn't used to be.

Is the dedicated server crash a recent problem?
When did it start roughly?
Does it happen with all tracks and karts, even the stock ones?

Is the dedicated server crash a recent problem?

Yes

When did it start roughly?

from general server crashing started when Genk was added ( Release 1 )
But dedicated server crashing, maybe around Release 3/4 in that area?

Does it happen with all tracks and karts, even the stock ones?
Yes

I would be going for lap records in a DrivingItalia server and it will just randomly die.
Usually it seems when more karts are on track and putting laps in at the same time that the servers crash faster.

Its usually after 100+ laps are put down I've found.

Damage to Axle
Was a good, but broken feature.
I could bend the axle going around the first corners of (old) Lonato, but I could by spinning the kart into a wall at over 100kmh(60mph).
Would be nice to see that feature back in the future( as long as its not broken )

Damage to chassis
?

Damage to steering column
I thought you could still bend all your steering?

bodywork damage
Also still a thing. Just not a very attractive damage model/not realistic.

The multiplayer experience really isn't all that great these days, with server crashes/lag etc.
IMO the multiplayer from the beta before the 2015 Birel was added was when it was at its best ( Based off of the SKWC experience where we could have 28 karts in a server, no server crashes. The only problem I did have was a 280 ping because I was joining an American server, but even then, karts weren't jumping around that much, just I had to be careful about touching people ).

**Note**
Not trying to bash, I've been trying to support KRP a bit more over the past year or so, I assume the multiplayer " updates " have just been testing stuff to see if it works or what ever and that we'll get any updates that the GP-Bikes and MX-Bikes guys get to their multiplayer.

You need to work on making the correct elevation changes
