Bug reports / Re: why tracks dont work?
June 07, 2011, 10:50:03 AM

The track owner must also share the track used for registration.
Different race data doesn't work.

There's an extra "kart.exe" in the link :)

Shall we paint this yellow line in our tracks? In track editor, what shall we do? (sorry for the offtopic)

Yellow line is track builder's responsibility.
Nothing must be done in track editor. Line data is automatically generated, 25 meters from start line.

Dijon manually reset.
Please remember that immediately after track registration the track owner must drive at least one online lap to set the correct race data.

what about  the gtr2 system?

1 button for left view, 1 button for right view, when they are both pushed= rear view

The current system is more flexible: Heading control is analog; it also allows for example to use a POV switch to look left / right and back.

Racing / Patch
June 02, 2011, 09:18:21 PM

Here http://www.kartracing-pro.com/downloads/beta3b/kart.exe you can download a patch.
It fixes the "Pitlane Full" error and an input calibration bug.
It is only needed by dedicated server admins and those with controls assignment problems.
Please report if it works correctly, so the full build can be updated.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Telemetry wishlist

1. Are tire temperature sensors used on karts?

2. Does anyone know the file format of Motec or another analysis software?

By the way, Idle Help is a help? Piboso did'nt say nothing about it and I am agree with him, do you? (Sorry if it is a offtopic)

Automatic idle is not in the list, and there are no plans to force it off.

after a little of time, where karts brake there is  a lot of rubber, does the grip change? just curios

Groove has no physical effect. Grip is always the same on all parts of the asphalt.

- no automatic clutch in ks1 when it is below a certain speed

Again: there is no automatic clutch on the shifters, at any kart speed or engine rpm!

General Discussion / Shift Help and "No Aids"
June 01, 2011, 08:15:22 PM

At the moment when a server is created with "No Aids" then automatic shift, traction help, brake help, best line are forced off.
Should shift help be added to the list?

it`s in x:/ programm files/ kart racing pro/ karts
if you not have karts folder open karts.pkz with winrar and unpack there

There is no need to unpack karts.pkz
Just re-create the folders structure.

ok i try it...but i read that many people have problems with the temps on the rear.....thats when you sliding a lot i try to male a replay

Probably your problems are due to tires temperature.
This will be addressed in future releases.
