Thanks Piboso!

Here's another mirror for you, I added it to my S3 storage: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/kartpulsekrpmirror/krp-rel5.exe
Kicked off a topic on our forums to see if we can get some races going: https://forums.kartpulse.com/t/kart-racing-pro-release-5-is-out/1847

I'm in MN ;) Got a good deal on it, ignition is toast so I have the PVL from my FA on it right now. Broke my finger starting the damn thing up by hand.

Yeah I have a TX125...

With a KZ it'll depend on how much drag you have on your clutch. Generally though you'll be able to bang it into first from neutral if you have the RPMs pegged and the clutch in.

So did you get this setup for direct drive yet? Did you hear back from the designer at all? Got mine a couple of weeks ago, pretty sure the ignition is toast as it wont start and I've isolate everything else. Haven't looked at anything on the clutch side yet so I don't know what taper is on there.
What was the starter gear tool your dad made for? I just removed the screws in the ignition rotor and pulled the gear out with my fingers. Hoping to convert my one to alky, might even punch it out to 135cc :D

Here's a .drk file from race studio. I don't think this one has a GPS channel...

So AIM telemetry allows for map creation? Maybe someone can provide some samples. I don't think that format is open but just maybe it's easy to understand. But i think that they will provide soft or at least piboso creates something (if he gets file format).

To clarify, I wasn't trying to diminish your efforts if that's what it sounded/read like.
The AIM Race Studio software can draw a track map using the GPS channel from their newer hardware, or on their older stuff it can draw the track using the lateral G and speed/distance channel. It works quite well.

If you download race studio from AIM (its free) it comes with some drk files included for you to play with.

I wonder would it be easier to write something that will convert the .xls files from KRP to AIM Race Studio DRK files and just use race studio to analyze the data?

LOL thats awesome. Fire up the Sonik while playing for authentic "smellivision"

The tapers on the direct motors we close enough that you wouldnt need a key to drive it. Just pop the sprocket on and tighten the nut using a piston stop, or some rope in the plughole if you are cheap. Get it close then use grinding paste for the final touch.
Let me know if/when you get those schematics for the clutch, if I find out anything thats interchangeable or whatnot ill let you know.
This motor was supposedly really good, or at least really fast.

38 is about the highest I've heard from an FSA. 45 seems a tad high, translates to a BMEP of around 231psi. On methanol you could get that high, but on petroleum I doubt it.

I haven't done it, but I may have to. Can you weld the clutch in some way. That might be the easiest route, unless you can find a drive sprocket for the crank taper.
