Track Editing / Re: Roskilde Karting Track
July 25, 2011, 07:10:15 PM
I downloaded the updated track. But I found something weird. The file I download is a pkz, that's what mediafire said, but when I download it I get a zip file. I unpacked the zip and add it to the game. I also changed the zip into a pkz, and add it to the game again. But I had still the same. I can see it ingame, but when I want to drive it doesn't work.

No not a black screen. When I want to drive nothing happened and the game stays in the overview of the laptimes. I wait 2 minutes. Then I return to my desktop without leaving the game, there is a small box which say that kart.exe doesn't work.

I found a tire barrier where you can drive through.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: New engine
July 18, 2011, 08:15:51 PM
The VT250 engines are very good engine, probably the best 4 stroke engines at the moment. And I think that it will make the game more interesting for a lot of people. Yes I do drive a 4 stroke engine.

I think that when the game is almost finished, all the bugs are fixes and everything works fine etc., the game will be more interesting if there are more different engines, chassis/paints and tracks. Everyone who makes paints/tracks etc. does a very good job I think.  But the more choices there are, the more interesting the game will be. That's what I think.

You're right. I've driven twice in a VT250, and it's very great. The acceleration is awesome. But which engine would you like to see because I thought that there are 4 different engines. I drove with the Swissauto 250, but you also have the Vampire, the GM and an other one which I forgot the name.

I think that it looks very good.  ;)

When I was told yesterday that I shift wrong I tried to do it good. But it's very difficult to do perfect. I had only a few laps were the shifting was perfect. But then the lines weren't perfect. When I drove the perfect lines the shifting wasn't good. So it's very hard to do drive a perfect lap. When the shifting will be a bit longer it will be much better and easier.

Media / Re: My hotlaps at Lonato
July 03, 2011, 12:56:47 PM
I can't help you with that, sorry.

The shifting like you do in real is much better. It did a 42.220 but my theoretical lap is 42.032. I'm definitely going to drive more laps and try to beat the first time with KS1. I improved my time only by shifting like in real. So I recommend you to shift like in real.   ;)

And when I shift while driving full throttle I can't shift before 15300 rpm.

I think I can shift at 14500 rpm with full throttle, but most of the time I'm to early. So I tried to shift at 16000 rpm, but I think I shift around the 15000. We 'll see.  ;)

I just did a 42.600. I need to practice more with shifting on the real way. I'm to busy with shifting that my lines are not good.  But in the 2nd sector I was almost 0.2 faster then I was with my 42.349. My topspeed was also 1 km higher. So I think it's faster to shift like the real way :o
