Is quite clear that wet conditions are very easy to handle now in KRP. Real wet is extremely fun to drive, people refuses to drive when rains but they are loosing one of the best f****g funny thing in the world  ;D
In my video I went carefully o do the best lap of the day and you can not feel 100% the wet driving watching it, but you can imagine somehow what funny is  (of course the engine should be operative lol)

Real drivers should give their opinion, that is the reason of this spinout thread. Sorry to evo1087 for no using his suggestion thread but I think this suggestion needs his own discussion ;)

If I start the game without the wheel connected, the kart will be driven with keyboard. No problem

But when I start the game again with my wheel, all the calibration and axis settings are lost and I have to do them again....


I suggest a different way:

-If the wheel is connected, the last saved profile is used.
-If is not, a temporary profile starts, with arrow keys and default keys to control everthing else.
-When the game starts again with the wheel, the last saved profile starts with our settings.

Bug reports / long text=crash

Maybe we had found a strange bug:

If someone writes a long text, the game crashes. I did my own test, entered in a server, wrote a long text (until the limit) and the other pilot on the server had a crash.

I can't say that I am right, but it had happened twice and one of them was on purpose, so I think it is a easy bug to test.

Bug reports / Crash when changing track

I am getting crashes all the times I change track when I am creating a offline or online server. Example:

I am driving in Goldenport in my own server, then I want to go to Amay: ADMIN-> change track-> Start -> Select kart paint -> CRASH

If I close the server but not the game, the same when "Start" is pressed after the kart paint choose.

No matters if the choosen track is official or unofficial.

How can we loud down the oponent engine volume?

Close battles are hard because of we can't hear own engines  :P

Bug reports / Quick Race and KS1

I think something is wrong with this combination, Quick Race and KS1. When the kart is put on the track, the engine is off but the warm up lap is off too. So you can not start when the starting light goes to green.

Am I loosing something? I tried to push to start the engine and do the warm up lap, but the kart is hold, it is not possible to do such thing.

I am going to buy excentrics for my Intrepid Cruiser. Do someone know which are the sizes that I need?

Track Editing / Magescq for beta 4 (OLD)

The beta 4 has new features and the tracks must be updated. Now Magescq has dynamic drying and rubbering.

This was my first track and it had many problems. Now was the moment to fix them and I think they are mostly gone.

Changes:
-No more stocked karts, the kerbs are redone, they are softer and the grass nearby is driveable, so if you go out of the track, you can easily return back to the track.
-The starting light now is better and nice.
-The grass and the track textures are improved.

And the most important:
-Now the track has a layout "Magescq Historic"  :D

Off-Topic / Help with real Kart SETUP

I have an Intrepid Cruiser KZ2 kart. It is fast in good hands (spanish champion last year and my kart is his trainning kart) but I am not good pilot at all... So I want to learn how to improve the setup.

Now it has not excentric adjustment and the kart oversteer a lot at turn exits. Can someone help me with easy changes? The 2ยบ excentrics are bought and waited, so caster and camber will be adjustable soon. I don't have money for axles or better tires... Only setup changes :P

My listened english is not so good, I barely understand K-racer spoken help  :-[ I am reading the tutorials and they are great, but we can write here for everybody, not only me :)

With Mychron there is a button for change the shown data, but I can't find the same with Unipro  :-[

Sorry for no telling nothing until today... I had forgotten...  :-[

The front right wet tyre is backwards, it looks like it is bad mounted (what a mess when you mount the tyre on the same direction twice!! lol)

Yesterday I had a new bug and after that, the crash. Two days ago I had it too, but I didn't want to tell nothing until I had again the bug. I read the new beta4b version is released but I don't think it is fixed.

In garage section, the little triangles to move the values became squares and they were not working



When I tried to go out of the garage to the track, the game crashed but the screen still was the garage. The only way to go out was ctrl+alt+supr

I have the same extreme vibration with the Logitech Driving Force GT if I let go of the wheel. I am using 115 FF in game and 104% in Logitech Profiler. No dead zones at all.

It will be interesting to have this kind of setting when we build a track. I know many real tracks and I know that is very different the time of drying on them. Magescq dries very fast but Olaberria (not in KRP yet) is completely different, it takes days...

About "Testing session only": We can change those values only in testing? Why not on races? Is the chosen air temp involved on the dry of the track?

Hi  :D

Here the Villarcayo track 90% done. I have work to do yet, but now it is quite finnished.

The track has still minor bugs like 3 black areas in grass and the kerbs are not realistic yet. The real ones are bigger than KRP version.

The parking area is very empty and there are not all the details finnished. Most textures are fast done because I have not the real ones.

I am going to holydays so I wanted to upload the track for you, to enjoy it. I know this is not the funniest track of KRP, but it is the funniest real track driven for me and I wanted to have it virtual :)

Even with the spectacular work of Piboso on Essay, they are there... Is the hardware the problem?

This is one spanish track. Is not very known outside Spain but is funny anyway.

The virtual track is almost finnished  :D I learn a lot of things doing it and I think that now the grass and kerb problems are fixed. Let me know if they are not.

Now I will fix the last little bugs and I want to improve the track looking. I need some real photos to do that but I live far from the track and I don't know when I will take them...Be patient  ;D
