Thank you for your help with this. I really appreciate it.

If Kart Racing Pro is among the games you have there, then you have a Steam version :) Or if you have a KRP shortcut on your desktop, just right-click on it and select Properties. For a Steam version, you should see a Web Document tab with a URL (see the attached image).

Thank you for that.  I just checked it using both methods and it appears that it is indeed the Steam version.

Are you referring to the files located in Documents->PiBoSo->Kart Racing Pro->profiles-> [YourKRPNickname]->tracks? These are simply in-game files with groove and marble values accumulated during your sessions on these tracks. The pre-installed tracks are stored in the Kart Racing Pro installation folder in a compressed format (tracks.pkz).

Yes, I was referring to that, and thank you for the clarification, that makes sense.

Quote from: LXS77 on June 09, 2020, 12:15:47 AMHi, first of all, let's clarify this – have you purchased your version of Kart Racing Pro from Steam or have you downloaded a demo version from the KRP website? Please bear in mind that The Demo version doesn't support additional tracks.

As Eumk2012 correctly pointed out, all additional tracks should be placed in My Documents -> PiBoSo -> Kart Racing Pro -> mods -> tracks, but you need to create the folder tracks manually as it doesn't exist by default.

You cannot see attachments on this board.

All downloaded tracks are compressed for the ease of distribution and you have to extract the folder with the track and put it into the created tracks folder. Normally, the tracks come as ZIP files and Windows can easily cope with them. However, the New Castle track is a RAR archive and to open it you will need something like this - http://www.freeunrar.com/#download

Hope this helps.

I'm almost positive it was from Steam.  Everything else you said I have done carefully.  Any idea how I can confirm that it was from Steam or the website?  I'm like 90% sure it was Steam, but that 10% is more than a shadow of a doubt.

Does anyone have any other ideas? We are kind out just out of luck at the moment, and I don't know what else to try.

Thank you, yes, I have tried both of those methods with no result.  I'm not sure where the breakdown is.  The directions are easy to follow, and I've done it multiple times, tried restarting the computer afterward, tried closing and reopening the program, etc.  When we go back into "Testing" the drop down menu of tracks is unchanged.  Just the same few that were available originally.

Hello all!

My son is a mini60 driver and we got this platform for him to practice, especially because of the availability of tracks, but we are not very savvy when it comes to PC tech and now that I've downloaded some tracks, specifically the New Castle track, from a Google Drive link we found in the forums here, and placed in what looked like the recommended location:

My Documents -> PiBoSo -> Kart Racing Pro -> mods

We get nothing.  The file types don't look the same as what is pre-installed when you buy the game, but the tracks came from this forum, so I assume they should work with Kart Racing Pro.

Can anyone help me figure out why the tracks aren't being recognized?  Thank you so much for your help!
