USA Tracks:

New Castle Motorsports Park
USA International Raceway (maybe best kart track of all time?)
F1 New Jersey (held a WSK race last year)

I tried making New Castle but I was having a hard time with BTB and don't really understand my way around it yet.

But USAIR would be my first pick. That track is nuts. The backstretch is basically a scaled down version of Spa's Eau Rouge. Lots of G-forces and a very physically demanding track.

what about las vegas?? some of my teammates were over there last year and they are problably coming again this year?
i havent been there myself but they say its a great track

You mean the Supernationals track in the parking lot of the Rio Casino? Yeah, the layout is pretty nice and the backdrop would be incredible if someone had the time to do it. I raced there for the first time last year and it was an awesome event. Tons of international drivers, racing at night under the neon lights of the casinos... Pretty great  :D I was lucky enough to run near the front of the final for a bit before my kart went away, but I've never been involved in such aggressive, close racing.

Here's something that might help with the front grill  :)

Thank you very much T.J. saved me a lot of time :)

No problem, as a designer I tend to end up with tons of megabytes worth of little odds and ends vector patterns and the likes.   :P

Do you have Illustrator? It really works better for pen tool drawings, as that's what it's made for. It could be from how you're selecting it. Instead of making a selection and brushing it in, just draw the shape with the pen tool as a shape layer.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: ks1 red light
June 13, 2011, 11:42:58 PM
I don't know about the power curves for a KZ in real life, but I know that the lights are adjustable on the MyChron so you can set the redline as whatever you want. Seeing that we all have the same engine/power curve, setting the lights the same for everyone would be fine, as long as they work and are in the correct place.

Agreed Piboso. If you were able to communicate with some of the guys in the server too you could ask how much time is left in the session as well.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Kart Trolley

He wants us to be able to lift the kart off the stand onto the ground and pick it back up when you're done driving. Kinda pointless in my opinion. Obviously not everything that is in real-life should be put into the game. I wouldn't want to stand in line for an hour to wait for scrutineering in KRP. :P

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Mechanic

Boris,

I don't necessarily think your idea is such a bad one. F1 2010 has something similar for their game as well where you can just let the mechanic put the setup on.

But for me, I think that setting up the kart is half the battle. Maybe if there was an option to let your mechanic tune the kart with some basic setup things like you selecting if you want more oversteer or more understeer or things like that, but also having the ability to completely setup the kart on your own. I know that in real-life, I do all my own tuning. I rarely have mechanics. But I think it'd be good to have the option to do both.

Would it be possible to have a page on the site to show the current servers that are up and their status as far as amount of players in each server and what track and class they are running? For me, I have an iMac so I have to boot up my Windows partition and then go into KRP and then check the server listing there and it takes quite a bit of time. Also, I'm out of the timezone of most of you European guys so there usually isn't anyone online when I am and it doesn't really pay for me to boot up my Windows just to see that no one is playing. I think it would just be more convenient for everyone if you could hop onto this site and just check quick to see if anyone is online.

how did u change the numbers
I already make a lot of tracks, Kyustendil(BG), Haskovo(BG) Sarno(IT) Bucurest(RO) (Speedworld)(AUS) Ortona(IT), but i didn't think to post here, because, when I asked for assistance in my theme is not responsible and had to straighten myself do not think that it is properly. I Asked PiBoSo, how to make 2-3 things but i don't have answer... Guys for me is not problem to post this tracks, but this is stupid...

Piboso is probably incredibly busy trying to fix bugs and improve the sim. It's pretty selfish to think that he should drop everything to help you with track creation. Do you think he has time to check every post in every forum during the day?

Bug reports / Re: Toe Out
June 10, 2011, 10:04:09 AM
When the driver sits in the kart, it toes in a millimeter or two. Nowhere near 5 cm.

The game shows it as "toe-in" so the negative value refers to toe-out.

That'd be really cool to have the tucking feature.

Bug reports / Re: Grip on the rear
June 10, 2011, 03:51:57 AM
Ghost,

I get what you're saying (I think  :P ). I agree that many sim games get the grip levels wrong. The thing about karting is that the circuit rubbers up SO quickly throughout the weekend that without the technology of a dynamic track in-game (track rubbers in in-game), it's really hard to replicate real grip levels.

Which is unfortunate, because half the battle in karting is adapting to the track every time you go out.

Kart looks great, not really sure I'm digging that you stole my suit design  :-\ It still has my name on the belt even.

I was going to do the decals for the CRG bodywork since that's what we use at Merlin but looks like you've done the work for me!

I would appreciate though if you didn't use my suit.

These are the factory suits right now:

http://merlinusa.com/apparel_driver-gear.php

The top one is the current team suit. The others are old versions. If you could make these instead to place with this kit, I'd really appreciate it.

Also, the kit seems a bit low-res and some of the lines don't match up. Maybe it would be better to fix some of that.
