Hello.

Updated to beta 5 version and game always crashes at some point playing online. The strange thing is that i never see marbles on the tyres but at the point where game suddenly freezes i can see the marbles on the tyres.

I hope that the developers spend more time on getting the online problems sorted out as priority number 1.  The lag when people join game always sends me off track too.

Hope beta 6 is working online.

I appreciate the work going into this game but i have worse problems than beta 4 when online. It still stutters and freezes and for me online play is still impossible so will have to wait for beta 6. The game actually crashes alot more for me than before, some sort of runtime errors.

Are you sure there isn't a problem elsewhere? Everbody else seems to be having a good online experience. Have you done a clean install? Drivers up-to-date, etc?

I done a clean install and have latest drivers. Reading through the posts its seems im not the only one experiencing online gameplay crashes.

I think it would be good to concentrate on getting the multiplayer side of the game running smoothly as a number one priority and then fine tune the karts later.

Offline testing i am experiencing no problems apart from lag on mod tracks.

Oh well i will wait in anticipation and crossed fingers for beta 6.

Ive had this game for a couple of weeks and ive found it impossible to play online cos of all the lag when several players join. Playing against 1 person with a low ping is sort of ok but when others join its constant lag and screen freezes for split second. I have a 20 mbit download and 2 mbit upload so its not my problem. Race 07 works fine. I have 32bit vista with gtx 460 and quad core 2.4 ghz  intel cpu and 4gb ram.
I hope these lag issues are fixed in the next version cos this game has the potential to be very good.

I am already bored with racing against my own lap times. The online lobby seems pretty dead and when i do see somebody to race against the game crashes. AI cars would be nice even if its only because they would make a lonely racer happy!

I have the same problem too but only when i host an online game.

Hello.

When i host an online game the screen freezes for a split second and the other drivers tend to vanish. Im racing in dry conditions and i have turned the graphics down. Offline works fine. When people join the game the screen freezes for a split second too.

Any suggestions?
