i havent lost interest but i got not that much time currently. give me some time

That's fair enough but it's been 4 months since you last posted about it and 10 months since you first said you would make it.

Does this mod still work with the latest beta? I haven't used KRP for a while.

If there is enough demand I'll update the physics side of the mod again. As for the model, unless someone can step up and get it in game it's just going to stay as is. LauZzZn seems to have lost interest.
3
I haven't heard anything about graphical models, and the guy who was going to give me dyno sheets never got back to me.
4
I haven't heard anything. Hopefully LauZzZn can let us know.

In other news, should have a proper dyno sheet to plug in for the next release in the near future. :)

There is almost no difference in the way it feels, the only real advantage is the lower rotating mass. I definitely wouldn't say no one changes their disc, I know lots of people who aren't running standard discs in their karts.

nathan i only can rotate my wheel to 90 degree in iracing but my wheel also has got 900 degree like the g27 (fanatec gt3 rs) do you know how i can change so i can rotate the wheel ingame more?
Are you sure? If you are running with driver arms disabled the animation only goes to 90 degrees - but it's only graphical. You are actually getting more than that. I hate running with driver arms, I have it turned off usually. Check my screenshot to see what I mean, you can see the graphical model for the steering wheel and driver arms is at 90 degrees, but if you look at the bottom left to see what the actual controller is at it's actually at more like 170 degrees.

same problem here. I had to turn the min force to 0 but put the strength up to full max, there seems there are lots of ways that people recommend to set it up, i just need to find one that suits
Honestly, I've been on iRacing on and off for three years, and I've tried every conceivable combination of settings. What I posted earlier is by far the best I've had. Remember that there are heaps of old posts on the forums from before they made a big update to the FFB, many settings people have posted are now obsolete.

Logitech drivers:

Strength - 101%
Spring - 0%
Damper - 0%
Center spring - 0% unticked
Report combined pedals - unticked
Degrees of rotation - 900
Allow game to adjust settings - ticked

iRacing:

Strength - 20
Damping - 0
Min force - 12%
Linear force feedback - enabled

Make sure you calibrate the steering properly in iRacing too so that it reads around 900. Personally I calibrate it to 875, it brings it closer to actually being 1:1 from in game to your physical wheel. From there just adjust strength in iRacing depending on how you like your FFB for each car.

Good news guys!

As far as I can tell now we just need the exhaust, airbox, water pump and radiator hoses. It's times like these I wish I knew what I was doing with 3D stuff.

I remember when the beta was getting hyped up to release in 2011. Personally I'd rather Zach continue keeping quiet until he has time to actually get it done, no good teasing us now if we won't see anything for another 12 months.

Wow, awesome find. I'm gonna ask him if we can use it. :D

All updated and uploaded, the new link is in the OP. I'm not totally sure what the handling is like as I don't have a wheel set up at the moment, I just used the ballast and tyre settings I was experimenting with shortly after b9 was released. From what I remember it was pretty good, but I can easily make changes if need be. Old setups will most likely now be redundant, sorry guys. :D

I haven't done much really, I haven't even driven a sim at all for nearly a month. I'll fix up what I do have tonight and upload it ASAP. ;)

Yep the renewal adds on to your current subscription, so if you were to renew now it would extend it to next August.

I've just been given a 12 month renewal for $49 promo code, anyone who wants it can message me.
How long it's valid?
Until the end of July I think, useful for existing accounts.
