Just an afternoon of tinkering. Progress to come.

Been testing out Beta 14c alot lately and something that is causing major issues with pack racing is the slip stream and mid corner aero effect. The effect is simply too large/great. It is near impossible to follow someone nose to rear bar.

The kart gets so unsettled so quickly, mid corner the kart will step out. Then if im 3 kart lengths behind at the start of a straight, I can just catch the kart in front and be in a passing position by the end of a short straight. At best, I should of gained on the next kart but never should I be in a passing position.

I remember the slipstreams were not an issue back in betas 5/6 or so.

In our opinion, would like to see the Slip stream effect halved in value. I think this would be a massive step forward in the right direction.

Hello Guys,

To install these numbers go to > KRP Installation Folder > Open 'Karts.pkz' > Karts > Go into each folder & replace each 'plate.tga' with the new file.

For modded engines, got to the engines file in 'karts' regular folder, and replace the plate.tga.

MAKE SURE TO BACKUP ORIGINAL FILES.

Notice, all numbers will be black once replaced unlike PiBoSo's colour coding system for each class.

Hey PiBoSo,

Just wondering if you could change the amount of time/laps that it takes for the tires to look like this. I feel like it should only take 6/8/10 laps for the tires to change to this state.

Greetings KRP fans, its been quite awhile since ive posted here!

Hopefully you guys remember me and what I have done in the past regarding skin designing etc.

I thought I should let you guys know that I have taken my first real step into my Graphic Design career and I am proud to announce that I am officially a sole trader and owner of 'thydesigns'. As most of you know, I have spent a fair amount of time into designing certain skins and I think most of you would know me for the Tony Kart skin that I made a while back! Well this was the real start of my interest to see how far I could take Graphic Design and now I am designing all things including brochures, logo design, branding, business cards, real life karting decals, you name it!

Just wanted to thank you guys for supporting my early stages of my design career and I am excited to see KRP evolve into its final form.

Hey guys! Its been awhile since I have been active here on the forums which is partly due to finishing up school and honestly i havn't even downloaded Beta10 yet. But I am a couple days away from receiving my new PC so hopefully i can get back into it. But the reason why I have created this topic is because most of you know that I have done a fair few skins etc for KRP and now I am beginning my studies as a graphic designer, so I thought it was about time I put my work out there. I have created a Facebook page that displays and will continue to display most of my designs that i have/will be doing. I have recently completed my first real helmet design, so with that in mind, if you want any real helmet design or kart sticker kit done, then i would be more than happy to come to an agreement. However, anything I create for real life will come with a cost, but i can assure you that I am quite cheap comparing to some real designers aha. Tonight I had the most fun I have had in a long time in KRP, beta9 has made me excited again for KRP! Battling in the Mini's is almost perfect, you can actually rub pods and push without any problems! Damage is not a big factor either and its hard to actually spin from being hit from a slight nudge. This release has made me so happy! I haven't had had the chance to check out the other karts but from what i have heard, things are certainly on the rise! I did notice that i could slide the mini into corners under control without loosing time, which is satisfying! My only criticism is that when in the draft/slip stream, the kart can feel quite unstable but I learnt how to control this quite quickly, so it wasnt a real issue.

Also i feel the mini's are the best class for my track Toowoomba, it felt quite authentic and this was the first time i could battle with atleast two other drivers on my own track.

Im sorry but i really think that being able to race with more that 8 people in a server should be more important that working on new karts etc. Our Realism Racing event that should of taken place tonight was cancelled due to an unbelievable amount of server issues. Its not the dedicated server itself that's the problem because it hosts many other simulators. It's just getting to the point where the game is pretty much perfect except the actual racing side of it all.

A simulator will never be any good if you cant even compete against anyone.
No hard feelings against KRP or PiBoSo though, its just i strongly believe that it should be the main focus of this sim' right now.

Quite frustrating. Whenever i slightly touch any outside curb at Zuera, I spin.

Hello everyone, lately i have been swarmed with requests to do paints for people and yes i will be taking requests EXCEPT I am in a pretty hectic time finishing grade 11 right now. SO, in a few weeks i shall be able to start on a few projects.

Also, just to let you know. When i create paints, i try to get the most detail and precision i possibly can but the one factor that holds me back is the limited time i have. The previous paints i have created have taken multiple hours etc and I was just wondering if people would be willing to pay for paints. I get self satisfaction out of seeing the end results of my paints, but i feel as if i can turn this into a proper job opportunity for my future. Please let me know if you would be interested in getting a personal paint done, but with a price. (im not sure how much to charge due to lack of experience in this sort of industry, so make sure to let me know how much your willing to pay.)

Of coarse  I would have to gain permission for PiBoSo to earn money off of KRP but i will hopefully be able to contact PiBoSo IF there is enough interest.
