Setups / Camber and caster
August 14, 2013, 07:32:20 PM
In krp you can change the camber and caster separately, but that isn't possible in real right or am I missing something?

In real with my setup I always have positive camber and after that I do the toe like I want it. Then I can't choose the caster exactly like in krp. I have only 2 options left, positive and negative caster. If I want a different caster then I also get a different camber. I never tried much with caster because if I have the camber and toe good my setup feels perfect.

Is it possible to change the caster and camber in real like you can in krp or is isn't it right in krp? Can someone explain to me how it's actually working, because I don't get it. ??? ;D

Bug reports / Lags that makes you faster
August 24, 2012, 04:24:36 PM
I know it sound weird, but when you're playing online there're some small lags sometimes. A long time ago I found out that the small lags makes you around 0.03-0.04 sec faster. So if you have it 3 times a laps it's 0.1 sec. The lags you get when people join the server are different. That lags doesn't make you faster.

But last week when I was testing my new wheel I had one long lag which looked like someone was joining, but no one did. when crossing the 1st sector I was -0.34. My times weren't the fastest that times, but that gap was too much. When I finished the lap I checked that sector time. I was driving with kc1 at essay. My first sector time was 15.402 while that sector in my fastest lap was 15.555 and that lap was extremely fast. I don't think I'm able to do faster. Maybe around 0.01 faster is possible, but suddenly I was 0.15 sec faster. And normally that's impossible.

I saved the replay and made a video of it. The lag is around 0:02 and took till around 0:05, the moment I steer. You see that lag only for a part in the replay but ingame it took around 3 sec. No one joined at that time, so it was a lag like that small ones. But this made me much faster.

With that small lags I didn't know sure if it was a bug, but now with this long one the difference was so big I'm sure it's a bug. So I decided to post it because maybe it's possible to fix and I don't think anyone else noticed it.  ;)

Off-Topic / Real videos
May 16, 2012, 06:59:28 PM
I think it's great if we have a topic where we can post all videos of us driving in real. :D

I have one of my race from last sunday at Spa. It's of race 1:

It was my first race with VT250 Sr. I was quite fast and was able to do fast times. I only had some back luck and didn't finished any of the races. But I still had a great weekend and learnt a lot. :)

Off-Topic / Question about Adobe Photoshop
July 28, 2011, 06:43:39 PM
I'm trying to make my own helmet. I use Adobe Photoshop, but my skills are very bad. I still think I can make my helmet, because it isn't a difficult design. But I have a question about it. Is it possible to make only one side of the helmet and mirror it when that side is finished? When it's possible, how do you do it?

Bug reports / KC3 spindle
June 23, 2011, 03:38:56 PM
When I increase the front track width there is nothing in next to the wheel. The KS1 and KC1 don't have this problem. It's only the KC3.
