Support / Graphics Stuttering
January 02, 2015, 05:05:41 AM
Having a hard time with the graphics in this game since switching computers, this current pc has a nvidea gtx860m, 8 gb or ram and a 2.7 ghz processor. I can play iRacing, F1 2013 and rFactor with my graphics pretty high but struggles to even run this game on the lowest settings. I have set it to run on my graphics card and not the onboard chip already and have updated to the latest drivers and the game still runs like crap.

When racing online only a couple karts will show up instead of the whole field, is this something that is being fixed in the new patch as well?

I'm pretty sure he built them himself, he posted a pic of one of the tracks in another thread

The different color rims are for setup purposes, they are just made from different alloys to adjust the chassis flex very finely.

F100 looks like a 125cc Automatic.Sorry...

The two motors look very similar in real life, the 125cc just evolved off the ICA which is why they look the same

Karts drive alot better but there is a big bug with the F100 like Schwoni said. I just ran a 5 lap stint in each kart with stock setup on Essay, the tony kart and crg were both within a tenth and the birel was half and second faster and was getting more rpm than the other two

Off-Topic / Re: What injuries have you had?
September 29, 2012, 10:04:13 AM
Ive broken both my thumbs from head on hits one into another kart and the other into a telephone pole, cracked a few ribs from using a seat that didn't quite fit right and ended up paying the price for it. Also had a concussion from getting driven up over during a race, I don't remember anything that happened from that weekend after the crash except for maybe the few moments after pulling of the track, still have rubber marks on my helmet from the crash. Hit a haybale at about 70 mph and go half ejected out of the kart which didn't hurt me too bad just knock the wind out of me but the kart was screwed. Also jumped about 30 feet of a poorly positioned supermoto ramp at the end of the track when my throttle hung, somehow nothing got broke but is an interesting story to say the least. Never been upside down and don't even plan to be

Off-Topic / Re: New guy with kt100 clutch question
September 19, 2012, 07:25:30 AM
Yea a dry clutch is definitely what you want, the Hortsman is good and the 3 disk Patriot is also another good choice. If you are planning to stick with a can then either a 2 or 3 disk will be more than good and you won't see too much wear, we normally change our discs about every 6-8 races for club racing. Also you want the clutch engaging around 8600 rpm

There is where you can get both of those mentioned clutches along with any part you could desire for your kart

Just to nit pick a bit, the sweeper after the hairpin needs to be banked about 15 degrees, and the track texture should have a darker shade to it from the second to last turn til after the first turn. Other than that the track looks spot on

I would definitely be interested still. Also I know that there is alot of interest in an organized league but people have been turned off by this game because of the server warp issues from previous betas. I think if we can get a decent showing for a small organized race and maybe post the highlights on youtube we could generate alot of interest for a potential league. This also might be the motivation I need to finish up the few american tracks I started a while ago so we could use them for league racing.

One of the funnest tracks in the northeast, been a while since I've made the trek down to etown but I remember the track fairly well. It also a shame we don't have night racing in krp yet

Yea I completely agree, the new physics are great been bashing around all day yesterday and today and its really close to real. The new fs250 is an absolute blast and drives just like a four stroke should in that you have to be smooth and keep momentum up. Online is alot better as well from what I've seen, on euro servers I am only getting a little bit of lag, really want to see how racing on a us server is gonna be.

Buildings are now finished and placed on the track, only things left are barriers, banners around the track, trailers/tents in pit area, and 3d grass. Hopefully the track will be ready to go into krp for someone to convert for me within the next couple days

When driving the shifter, if you rev the engine up to max revs with the clutch in it will shut the motor off immediately and wont allow you to restart
