Great release. Karts seriously feel good. +1 on being able to hit ripple strips without flipping or randomly getting stuck!

G25 with ApElectrix load cell brake mod.

I got one of these when it was first released for around $200 (It was originally my bro's - he was a keen LFS drifter). I inherited it.

I find it quite simple to set up for each game (I have the same settings every time and just change wheel rotation as needed).

I've found that sometimes the settings won't take effect though (you can tell because it will load the game with 180 degree steering, when I've set it to 450 or so), so will have to exit and re-enter. Not sure why this happens though, if anyone knows let me know.

Overall feel is quite nice, I wouldn't mind trying one of the higher quality belt drive systems though, maybe the top Fanatec or one of the boutique systems.

Doubledragon posted a link to GP Bikes years ago in the MX Sim forum. I gave it a go but couldn't calibrate my 360 controller with it (I must have been a dumbass), so I gave up on it. Then I decided to give it another go (around two years later I think) but this was when there was the 'Beta coming soon' page. I then went looking around for the Alpha release searching things like "Piboso" (one of the things I remembered from one of the old GP Bikes Alpha builds). Came across KRP (I think this was when Beta 4 had just been released), downloaded the demo and instantly thought "Holy shit!!!!", bought it straight away. Was kinda disappointed at the same time because I had just renewed a 3 month subscription to iRacing thinking "man I'm never going to use this subscription now".


Now it's my turn to say thanks for KRP (and GP Bikes and WRS!!!!!!!) - I'm a believer :p

I assume we're delaying a week? Since it's 7pm and nobody is in the server haha...

I'm good with that - gives me a chance to redo my setup and learn the track!!!!!

KEEN! I love Russian Ring. Wish it was a registered track though!

I keep getting hung up when joining...so unless I somehow get in...looks like I'm out.

Edit: Good racing tonight - pity I had to leave for the final. Will have to reschedule my Thursday morning training so I can race if it goes later than usual :p

Racing isn't as formal as iRacing etc. Jump onto the servers throughout the day and see if any are up, otherwise look for the organised events such as this. Get your friends to join as well :p
