I've started the GP racing kart paint this evening.
I didn't get that far till now, but at least I try to make it as accurate as possible, so It'll take me quite a while to finsih it and I am not that fast in painting aswell.
Anyway, that's how far I got:

I kind of didn't find the right color for the plastics yet.

Good luck with the front grill with the black and gray hehe ;) Can you just mirror the other side of the pod with the side that you already have?
Yepp I mirror the paint in the end.
The front grill definitely won't be easy ;D

No problem, as a designer I tend to end up with tons of megabytes worth of little odds and ends vector patterns and the likes. :P

I am on holidays for a few days from tomorrow on, probably, so again I loose some time.

do you know where on the chassis.tga is the tube where we put the kart logo. minor detail but it would be a first. great for this beautiful w.i.p.

It appears on the older chassis. just like my swiss hutless and on CRGs i dont know about the new ones cant seem to find a picture

The floor pan turned out to be really tricky. It took me the whole evening to find and modify the right font so I could get it G.P. style.

I can really see the annodized frame and the floor pan looks great. High quality work! Did you hack the game and make your texture a higher resolution because it looks so clean

No, really not sure about that.
Maybe it's the general impression, I was pretty lucky with the main G.P. logos got some clean pictures.

I am currently searching for the G.P. logo, the letters.
Can't find a single version of it, but I am too lazy to paint the Logo from scratch.

Not sure if it will work if you take a photo of the steering wheel logo. Is there any other part with that logo on it?
I just did a steering wheel with evo's template, but without logo something's just missing.
No i think its the only thing with that logo on..... But cant you use the text like you did on the bottom plate on the kart?
It is not the same text, and it may look simple but it took pretty long. Would be great if you'd take a photo of that logo :)
Maybe the foto can work as a "blue print".

A question, do you slightly see the logo from the drivers point of view?
I see it a bit :D but i also have a... what do you call it?? A piece of metal beetwen the steering wheel and the steering column that makes the steering wheel sit more vertical :D

how do those wedge pieces work. I want one so i can hold the steering wheel lower and not strain my wris
its one of my teammates that makes them... its pretty hard to explain but i can try to upload some pictures that shows it when its on the kart... but if i should try to explain it.. Its basicly a piece of metal cut into a wedge with 3 holes in it xD that sets the wheel more vertical

Installation: x:\Program Files\Kart Racing Pro\karts\t-kc1 (t-kc3, t-ks1)\paints\xxx.pnt (t-k.. is for all tony based paints)
\c-kc1 (c-kc3, c-ks1)\paints\xxx.pnt (c-k.. is for all crg based paints)

Since Beta4, you can simply create
x:\Program Files\Kart Racing Pro\karts\paints\t\
and
x:\Program Files\Kart Racing Pro\karts\paints\c\
for all the shared paints.
