Hi, I have a track I want to export to krp, but I don't understand the tutorials. I exported to rFactor, but I can't download 3DS Max. Is there another way to export it to krp from bob track builder?

Hi, yes, there is. You can use
3DSimED (http://sim-garage.co.uk/) to make necessary changes and export your track into a .FBX format. Then run
fbx2edf from PiBoSo's Track Tools (https://kartracing-pro.com/?page=downloads) to create .TRP and .MAP files.
What do I export to? 3DS?
In 3DSimED, you export the track to the format called FBX (File -> Plugin Export -> Save As Type: AutoDesk FBX Files). Just search this forum for '3dsimed', there are posts (including mine) on how to use the programme.

:) OK.
I recommend watching this first - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4OOYkYrwUY&list=PLaSMhCGdv2uz5ZdRfxz5E93EArmXmW0BL&index=5
Then go through http://forum.kartracing-pro.com/index.php?topic=7550.0
In short, the main steps are as follows:
- Import your rFactor track (File -> Import)
- Delete unnecessary objects (e.g. skyboxi, xfinish, xpitin, xpitout, xsector1, xsector2)
- Rename collidable objects and surfaces so the game can recognise them (please refer to http://docs.piboso.com/wiki/index.php?title=Track_Creation_Guide for details)
- Resize the model (Edit -> Resize, set X=100, Y=100, Z=100)
- Export to FBX format (File -> Plugin Export, Save As Type: AutoDesk FBX Files, Settings: FBX ascii, Y-Axis Up, Copy Texture Maps - enabled)

No, I don't, you can PM me if you wish.
Do I need to download a plugin to export to auto desk?
No, the only thing you need to download and install is the latest version of 3DSimED (http://sim-garage.co.uk/3dsimed3-download/). It comes as a full-featured 20-day trial and has everything you need to export the track to .FBX, you don't need any additional plug-ins.

I don't see an option for .fbx
:D Please attach a screenshot, so I can see where you're looking for this option...
You cannot see attachments on this board.
OK. Like I said, to export to FBX, in 3DSimED you click File and go to Plugin Export, select "AutoDesk FBX Files" in Save As Type drop-down menu, click 'Save' button and choose the following FBX Export Options: FBX ascii, Y-Axis Up, Copy Texture Maps - ticked.
BUT! Before you start exporting the track, you need to complete the steps I described to you yesterday.
ok :)
