Title: Help with my track conversion from BTB!
Post by: maurace on November 07, 2018, 01:21:43 PM
Hi guys,

i'm wornikg on my local kart track, i've readed some tutorial about Bob's track editors and i've started to work with it. Now the track is quite complete and i wish to test it in game to fix issues and bug, but i have some problem:

1) i don't understand in wich format i need to export track from BTB
2) i can't export my track in somethings different from rfactor track, otherwise i obtain an error wich close the program.
3) i need to convert a rfactor track into KRP track or i need to convert it into 3ds max project. Otherwise i can convert it into a krp track, but i don't know how to do it!

can someone help me?
thank you!

export from BTB as an rfactor track and then follow this tutorial (http://forum.kartracing-pro.com/index.php?topic=196.0) you'll need 3ds max 2010 to do so

Thank You for help! i've just found and read the tutorial but some link included on it are out of service! i've found the MAS utiliy in another way on internet, and i've found the gmt2 importer ( i don't know if it's the same) plugin, but it require isi tools and i can't find it  on the web!! moreover,  i have only one file called sky.mas file in the folder, and i don't know if it's correct! i've found 3ds 2017, it work on it?

but there are also a good news:
the track is beautiful! i've past beautiful eavenings with my friends, some meat and the barbecue!!
