Title: KF2
Post by: oppolo on July 23, 2017, 01:15:29 PM
I'd like to have KF2 category and I found these values
160 kg
TAG
RPM max 15000 rpm
front brake like KF1
clutch 3000-5000 rpm
2 sets of slick tires and other 2 for wet tyres
engine: 27kw@12500 20,2 nm@11500

do you know others?

why would you want an old class? The new OK classes should be made.

Plus all of this is easily done by some one who isn't Piboso it's changing like 4 values and boom you have the class plus he already listed the data to make the appropriate change

thinking better....it would be possible to do also the OK classes in the same way I did the KF2...only engine have changed for the OK classes?

but I found only few datas

direct drive

OK
RPM max 16000
weight 145

OKJ
RPM max 14000
weight 140

do you have others technical datas

The Major difference KF to OK is mid range power and the fact the OK is direct drive. I've done the work to put together an OK mod and am slowly working on getting it finalized and I'll decide if it's worth releasing considering I don't actually have a dyno I just took Piboso's KF dyno and modified it to have better mid range. Plus the OK engines are set to a lower weight  than the KF. Making a KF2 from Piboso's KF is much much easier than making the OK

Ok thanks a lot, while waiting for your release, I try to make the OKs with these few datas. Do you use physic editor for rfactor for making the torque curve?

Maybe because they reach the 500 rpm diffrence from the ignition to the ignition max rpm , the max is 16.500rpm

to be honest dude i wouldnt ever set the max RPM based of the anecdote from one person who hasnt post any actual evidence, while its understandable the engine may go slightly past the limiter in practice in specific situations the IAME website clearly states the limiter is set to 16000 so unless youre some sort of OK engine manufacturing god that no one has heard about i would stick with the website
