Release notes
- a clean installation is strong recommended
- replays are not compatible with the previous versions

- the bodywork format and folders structure has been changed, to split between front bumper, sidepods and rear bumper. The bodywork mods should be updated.
Also, the seats and fuel tanks now have their own folders and dedicated texture.
Overall, the changes unfortunately made all the old paints not compatible anymore.
Also, the gfx.cfg file of the chassis mods should be updated to set the fuel tank and seat.
- VR support is now integrated: http://forum.kartracing-pro.com/index.php?topic=6097.0

Now mods can be installed in the "My Documents"/PiBoSo/Kart Racing Pro/mods/ folder, too.
It's also possible to change it to a completely different folder ( even a different disk drive ) editing "folder" under the "mods" section of the core.ini file.

For an example of the limiter sound, please check the sfx.cfg file of the s_fs250 engine.

The "very high" connection sets 24 visible karts at the same time.

I assume for the mod folder it is the same installation method as before just in a different folder?

You turned all the models around so previous versions of edfs no longer are correct, that would have been good for the release notes....

Congrats! Any updates on how us early buyers can get upgraded to Steam keys? Also any chance for addition of Steam Workshop support? Would make management of the track mods so much easier. Thanks!

Work is in progress on a web page to convert the standalone key to a Steam one.
It will take several days. Thank you for your patience.

Is Genk using BASPH or CASPH asphalt? It feels like I have less grip on this track than others.

PiBoSo will you make both paint templates compatible because if you don't that's essentially all the paints ever made gone.

It uses ASPH, as the other stock tracks.

Congrats on the release of Kart Racing Pro! It's a fantastic sim. Is there a way I can officially migrate my licensed copy of KRP to Steam? I took a quick scan of the forums and didn't see any posts regarding this.

That unfortunately is not a simple task it is not possible to  uvwunwrap the object twice without doing something like creating a legacy version of the bodyworks it would work but it's probably not ideal

After updating, everything works great, but no sound?
is there a way I can force the sim to use a specific sound device?

Congratulations on releasing KRP Piboso! I immidiately bought the game (out of convenience on Steam, sorry) and I really like it a lot. One thing though, whenever I tried to connect to a server online, the game crashed. As far as I remember, among your sims KRP used to be the most stable online. Now it is a big letdown to not be able to use the online mode at all. From what I read on the Steam reviews, it seems to be a common problem. Is there any fix for this?

I saw the discussion here (http://steamcommunity.com/app/415600/discussions/0/1457328927846610304/) where it says online connection issues are solved, but I am still having the issues.

It should be possible editing the file kart.ini in the Kart Racing Pro installation folder, changing the value of "driver" under the "sound" section.
0 is the default, 1 is the first device, 2 the second, and so on...

I just tested your update. It worked very well, no disconnection, not a single netcode issue, I could disconnect from servers, reconnect to others, the display of other karts was very smooth. I think you have made a major step Piboso, congratulations on that!

Minor recommendation: with the G27 the default FFB settings at 100%, the G27 seems to have some some serious clipping (maybe you should adapt the default settings)

Looking forward to the update as I am experiencing the same issue. I ended up running my Oculus via Steam VR and it worked ok. One thing I should mention, is that in Steam VR; in the replays, the display does not render the ground directly around the Kart properly.
