Title: Laptops Specs + Recommended Spec
Post by: DJ on September 20, 2016, 02:40:42 PM
Howdy!

My friend's son is a kart racer and bought Kart Racing Pro to practice on the tracks. My friend reports that all tracks run fine on his laptop connected to large TV with the only exception being PFI.

The spec of the laptop is as follows:-

- HP Pavilion 15-p158sa running Windows 8.1 x64
- AMD Quad-Core A10-5745M APU with Radeon HD 8610G Graphics (2.1GHz, 4MB cache)
- 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (1 x 8GB)
- 1.5TB Samsung 5400 RPM Hard Drive

The laptop hard drive is currently faulty and is being upgraded to a Samsung Evo SSD.

Would you expect Kart Racing Pro and PFI to run well based on these specs? Alternatively are there any recommended specs for this game to run with zero lag? Is PFI a particular large / demanding track that may require a better CPU, GPU or more Ram?

Thanks in advance 8)

Hello,
In this case, you may reckon its the track. If you say all other tracks run fine, maybe this track has something your specs dont like :D
What are your ingame graphic settings?
Maybe disabling a small graphic function for this track solves the issue (e.g. 3D Grass if its enabled)
